We stayed 2 nights for an event. We have stayed in this hotel often and it is starting to show its age. The bath tub is very slippery and bathroom handles are worn out and very sharp.

We booked two rooms. The Park View room was excellent — bright, spacious and filled with natural light. Unfortunately, the other room was quite dark and felt a little dank. As an Accor Gold member, we were disappointed that the hotel couldn’t extend our stay by an extra night, although it worked out fine in the end as we moved into a single room. The most frustrating part was at checkout, when we were told we couldn’t use an Accor voucher towards food we had consumed at the hotel restaurant. Given the Accor membership, this was disappointing and not what we expected. On the positive side, the hotel is very conveniently located for the Melbourne hospitals, which is a real advantage if you’re staying for appointments or visiting someone in hospital. Overall, a mixed stay — great location and one very good room, but a few service issues took the shine off the experience

We’re sorry, however, that your second room did not provide the same experience and felt dark. We also understand your disappointment regarding the additional night we apologise we were not able to accommodate you in two separate rooms as you would have preferred due to extremely limited availability. We also apologise for the difficulties you experienced when using your Accor dining voucher towards your restaurant charges. All restaurant discounts and dining vouchers do need to be presented in the restaurant at the time of dining, and unfortunately, we were unable to assist you with applying the voucher at reception during check-out. We're sorry that we were not able to provide clearer guidance at the time. We appreciate that, as an Accor Gold member, you have certain expectations around the benefits associated with your membership, and we’re sorry that your experience fell short. Your comments regarding the service issues have been shared with our team for review. the hotel messed up my reservation i was booked and this was confirmed by email yet when i turned up i was told i wasnt in the system. the front person did get me aroom for the first night but i ahd to find accomodation after that. i was presenting to people in the hoteal over the two days. the experience was stressful (told no room 1030pm at night) and inconvenient. As os today no one has appoligfised for the booking error.

We’re sorry that your overall experience was only okay and that our dining options did not meet your expectations. We apologise for the limited vegetarian selection at breakfast and, in particular, for your experience with dinner. We understand how frustrating it would have been to wait an hour for your order, only to find that the docket had not reached the kitchen and it had then closed, leaving you without a meal that evening. This is certainly not the experience we want for our guests, and we’ll share your feedback with our restaurant team so this can be reviewed. Everything and everyone were great! Especially Grace. Room was a great size, view was incredible especially as Sun going down. Public transport was close even with maintenance on tram lines buses were still good & timely. I would have like to eat at Farmacy but ran short on time but the Coffee was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Larwill. The rooms were comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The convenience of the restaurant, cafes and grocery store right there was amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had a voucher given to us as a birthday present. To be able to use the voucher we had to make the booking over the phone. There for the call centre centre instead of booking a king bed room, she booked a 2 king single beds room. At check-in the staff were polite and helpful and after the first night staying in the 2 singles room we got moved to the king room for the 2nd night.
