Second time my father in-law, Shane has stayed at Mecure North Melbourne when he's had to pay a visit to Peter Mac. He would have normally have stayed with us, but given the restrictions in Melbourne and how early his surgery was, it wasn't an option. He requested that e booked him into Mecure North Melbourne based on how much he enjoyed his previous stay there. From check-in to check-out, Ashan and the team went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. I really commend everyone that works at Mecure North Melbourne, not only the quality service, but also for going above and beyond and also for being really lovely human beings. Looking forward to future stays.

Rooms need an update and need better lighting. Staff were friendly and helpful, but both morning my breakfast arrived 15-20 minutes late. I needed it on time because I had morning meetings.

travelling in this crazy high risk time by myself with a toddler was unbelievably unnerving for myself. We had to travel due to an appointment at the hospital. The staff we so incredibly professional and helpful. I felt so comfortable with all the precautions they are taking and how clean our room was. My son has alot of allergies so hard to order for anywhere, they had supplied with with a microwave so I am able to heat the food I bought for him. The room service I ordered for myself, the food was beautiful and fresh and fast to come to the room. They had helped with my pram/luggage and million bags you need for a toddler, from the car to our room and again on check out had helped pack the car. So thankful for staff on this trip. We will be returning

Mercure North Melbourne is my first choice when I have to stay in Melbourne. It’s proximity to the children’s hospital ( just across the road) and the Royal Melbourne and the Royal Women’s plus Peter MacCallum it’s ideal. All listed hospitals are within 1klm of this hotel. The rooms are always clean and inviting and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. I have stayed here numerous times and will again without hesitation.

Check in left my whole experience disapointed. I have stayed at The Mercure numerous times as well as other Accor Hotels, this time again due to location and comfort, however when I checked in the receptionist pushed paperwork in front of me (she took a lengthy phone call just after she asked my booking name), points where to sign and continues to talk on the phone leaving me waiting for 15mins until she got off. When I asked about parking she said it was $15 per night. I had previously not paid for parking and asked if it was possible to park for free or if she could advise where free parking was. She said she doesn't know and that "she was not trained" to give free parking. I mentioned that our stay was merely hrs in the hotel and that I was going to the Royal Melbourne for Cancer treatment and Surgery she again mentioned something about her training and said I wasnt attending Peter Mac so she couldnt help me. What does that even mean???? Rooms are tired and some lighting does not work it was a convenient and usually we are met with friendly and accommodating staff however I will be reluctant to book again.

We have now stayed here twice. My husband has ongoing Medical Appointments at Peter McCallum, which is just 400 meters from here. The friendly staff,have been so so caring, obling and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The extras like turning heater on, an extra blanket and even a fan heater, to help keep my sick husband warm. The room service meals were amazing. We will be staying here every time we are down in Melbourne. We travel from Sale in Gippsland regularly. Thanks to management and staff for everything. We really appreciate your service. I stayed here the night prior to my surgery at the Royal Women's Hospital. It was great to be able to relax the night before and to be so close to the hospital for my early morning procedure. Great on-site parking kept our car safe. Can drive off the street into the driveway to check in which made check in a breeze (didn't have to find a carpark on the street to check in) Staff very friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean.
