Very disappointed that this hotel is 4 star. The whole building is extremely run down. Hallways, rooms and bathrooms all need a good coat of paint and a remake. Star rating should be lowered if they keep it in this condition.

Our stay was comfortable over all. Lovely staff all round. The room was clean, bed comfortable. But- Shower couldn’t get a right temp. Waaay too hot with the slightest big of hot on, or too cold. then get burned if another room used their water. The sink leaked onto floor and the bathroom light can’t be turned through the night on without an extremely loud fab, which was also filthy. Unfortunately our experience with restaurant was not at all the same as in the past couple years we’ve come. Service lovely but sadly the food was very disappointing. A pepperoni pizza was an oily drenched cheese pizza that had near no pepperoni or tomato base. It was literally dripping in oil to the point it made us feel unwell later. The garlic bread that once was amazing Resturant quality in the past, though cooked came out like a $3 one from the super market. Not quality for the price at all. But that will not stop us from coming back to stay.

Overall - Very good value! One reading light at the bed did not work. We couldn't access usual television channels. The bathroom basin plug wouldn't close so the basin would not hold water. The bathroom was moderately clean - some water marks remained on the walls around the basin. We used the restaurant for dinner one night and my meal was delivered at least 15 minutes before my wife's meal. Whilst an apology was offered this really was unacceptable.

Ended up with an upgraded room which was a nice surprise. Everything was very comfortable and I appreciated being placed in a quiet room as I stay for work. I had dinner at the restaurant on-site and that was also very good. As always the staff are always so friendly and nice to interact with, remembering my preferences from previous stays.

Good location, staff friendly & helpful. Rooms clean, tidy & comfortable. (Note TV does not have picture on many free to air channels) -did not bother us. Restaurant excellent for casual drinks, dinner and breakfast with good variety of meals and friendly, efficient service. Car parking very convenient

Appalling presentation, thread bar carpets, disgusting furniture, a bathroom that defies belief for an Accor branded facility, to the point I'm now completely turned off trusting how ACCOR present their brands. Moved my guests out immediately to Crown Plaza...horrible facility!

Very disappointed with my experience. I stayed at the hotel and ordered dinner and dessert from the on-site restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a piece of plastic in my dessert, which was extremely concerning and understandably put me off finishing it. When I checked out the following morning, I raised the issue with reception and was told that the receptionist couldn’t provide a refund and that I would need to send an email instead. I was disappointed that something as serious as foreign plastic being found in food wasn’t able to be resolved at the time, particularly given I was checking out. I would have expected the matter to be handled with more care and accountability. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the standard of service I expected.

We stayed in room 220, when we got to room 220 the TV didn't work and the cable socket was hanging out of the wall, there was a missing reading light with wires hanging out of the wall where the reading light used to be. We were moved to another room which was fine until I got a call later on telling me we'd have to move rooms again as the room we were in was already booked and we were moved back to room 220 after stuff was fixed the next day. When we were originally moved to another room, it was a lesser room than what we paid for and we had a small argument over the room when the woman at reception was telling us it was the same when it clearly wasn't. We definitely won't be staying here again. Also the floors in the corridors are very uneven and unsafe.

We had 3 room changes during our stay - first due to TV not working, shocking wifi connection and bugs on a table, second change was due to a mouse in our room! All of the rooms had dirty bathrooms, absolutely shocking wifi connection, a room had a blow dryer that wouldn't turn off unless unplugged, and there were marks on sheets. The staff were amazingly helpful and the restaurant had a lovely breakfast.

ALL the staff were so truely nice, the food I ordered for room service was delicious, hot food was as if I was seated in the restaurant, the room was very clean, it was about a 10 min walk to hospital at its slowest, so convenient. Can’t say enough good things about this experience.

This hotels looks have began to wan a bit. It’s looking very tired and well used. Lovely staff though and great service. Carpets have seen better days and the lift, well I’m just very glad this hotel has only two floors. You certainly wouldn’t want to get stuck in the one lift they have.

I stayed one night after a function in North Melbourne which the hotel was in easy walking distance to. The common areas of the building had a dated look and worn carpets. My room was clean, comfortable and what I expected. The breakfast buffet was not extensive, but very adequate and I enjoyed it. Value for money and within easy walking distance to all 3 hospitals along Flemington Rd.
