Location was great as i needed to be close to Royal Melbourne Hospital. Close to trams for travel into the city, IGA supermarket and dine in/take away food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

As many reviews have stated the hotel is badly in need of renovation. The carpets are worn, dirty and musty. The walls & ceilings in the rooms need painting, and the furniture replacing. The bathrooms need renewing and regular maintenance undertaken. Our air conditioning did not work until maintenance attended and cleaned the filter, something that should be done as part of an annual schedule of maintenance. On the positive side the reception staff were efficient and friendly; however I would still recommend staying elsewhere.

Rooms were clean. beds were comfortable, shower pressure was excellent. Hotel overall is dated, elevator is old and no elevator from underground parking to the rooms. Hallway carpets are torn and worn. A very ordinary hotel for the price.
