We are given first given a room that smelled horrible and of mould. Then soon realising that the carpet was wet when we walked in. We were then changed to another room but it was not worth the money we paid. The toilet water ran slowly all night, I tried pressing the button to turn it off but it didn’t work. The shower dripped on and off all night. The bed squeaked everything you moved a tiny bit. The pillows were very old and lumpy. Not a great stay to be honest.

Curtains werent big enough to cover window space. Windows single pane, so car noise came through. Shower water went everywhere, with bathroom door suffering from all the water.

Honestly the only good thing about this hotel was how polite the staff were. The moment you pull up alarm bells start ringing. This settles when you meet the staff but doesn’t last long. After you get your room key, you are greeted by a heritage Otis hydraulic elevator that should have been condemned 20+ years ago. It’s evident that the lift is beyond its life expectancy and the doors open in advance prior to correct levelling and well outside the allowable limits. This is dangerous and needs addressing immediately before someone gets hurt and this is the start of the issues that highlights a building that is clearly neglected. The room is also neglected and is not suited for stays over 1 day. The bathroom isn’t properly cleaned and has signs of mould and has hints of unskilled maintenance being done to hide issues. The shower is not suited for anyone that’s 6ft. The desk area for those who need to do business is flimsy and wobbles at the slightest push and has no lighting in the vicinity so working at night or early morning isn’t possible and the tv doesn’t work. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and the linen had multiple stains on them which is extremely disgusting. I had such a rough sleep that significantly impacted my behaviour at work. I would have preferred to sleep in my work vehicle in summer if I was given the option. The soundproofing is also poor and you are able to hear everything outside. When people at work asked where I was staying, they all laughed and felt sorry for me as even years ago it was poorly maintained and operated. This just shows Mecure isn’t concerned at the slightest to fix the place up properly and does not care about the guest or its image.

Arrived at 3 am as son was in RMH this hotel needs a total clean and revamp. Our room was dirty. There was no toilet paper when we arrived and bugs in the bathroom. Some type of steel box on bench near cups. Not sure what it was for. Carpet unclean. The lift was unsafe and when door opened it was not safe to get out. This is a 1 star hotel at the most. I will never stay here again.

Ok, it was F1 weekend in Melbourne, so hotels were thin on the ground, but as a loyal member of Accor, over $500/night for a REALLY basic motel is taking the Micky big time. More like a hospital than a motel, never again!!
