I stayed for 3 nights to facilitate family visitation and other requirements. I was pleased with the room and facilities and found my stay was comfortable with a good bed. The meals I had at the hotel were nice and not over priced.

While transiting through Melboure my daughter husband ended up in the RMH. I need to urgently find accommodation for my daughter. The hotel was excellent and very helpful to my daughter and made a very stressful time easier. Thanks to all concerned.

It was a seen from faulty towers, staff was excellent but understaffed one lovely lady trying to do 3 jobs. 1st room no remote for t.v. Tried to ring reception but the phone didn’t work went down to tell the receptionist she came up , while there we turned the light on over the bed it was flickering, so she said she put us in another room ….that was fine but the next room heater wasn’t working and again no remote for t.v. When trying to call lines we’re busy so took our room service menu down and told the receptionist no remote, the meal was lovely, but when I went to wash my hands in the basin it wouldn’t drain and all this gunk started to come back up the drain , let receptionist know so the next person in room would not have to experience what we did … maintaining your rooms should be a priority. Regards chris k... not happy!!!!!.

We have stayed twice now due to appointments at Peter Mac Centre. We found the Mercure easy to access from our home in Northern Victoria and easy to leave from to go home. The rooms are comfortable, meals very good and staff excellent. All staff members are friendly and obliging.

An excellent location to travel to the CBD, the races at Flemington, a show at Crown or any other activity. The staff were extremely friendly and their ability to remember room numbers, etc when it was fully booked out was impressive. Food was good at breakfast, again along with the service. A great sport to stay!!

Booked one night then rang up the day before and booked another night. When arriving they did not have the extra nights booking which I found dismal when had just called that day to book it in. Had an accord gift card which they said give on checkout and had been told about on the phone as i was sending my daughter and her carer. They called me about not having a booking, about the gift card and then called again saying can i get my daughter to bring the gift card down the night before checkout as they are busy in the morning. So i recieved quite a few calls which i found silly. ON checkout the bill was done wrong and my daughter and carer said the girl was rude about it all. They were not impressed with the whole experience and neither am I really as I shouldn't have needed to get multiple calls when they could've spoke to my daughter and her carer. It all seemed very poor practice to me.

Great location if visiting the Royal Children's Hospital or the Zoo. Easy access into the City by trams or a short walk. Hotel food good value. Rooms a little tired but very clean and all facilities. WiFi excellent and very good service from the Hotel staff.

Great obliging staff with sound knowledge of their business. Older property but well maintained and parts recently refreshed. Good location on tram line , major road just off motorway. Easy access to Lygon st restaurants etc and close to Vic Market and CBD
