5 night stay, room was clean. No arm chair although the was one in the booking platform picture and in other King rooms. Well situated for my stay, supporting family at the Childrens Hospital. Hallway carpet has had it, making it difficult to move heavier luggage. Lift is traumatising for first time user. Breakfast - tables not wiped down between guests. Food 'ok'. Ordered 1 poached egg and bacon because buffet was empty at 8.10am. Egg great, however I received 6 (still folded from packaging) strips of middle cut bacon, stewed? It was almost funny and a terrible waste of bacon. Dinner. 6pm. Waited at the wait to be seated sign for 5 minutes with other guests unknown to us. Knocked on kitchen door, staff presented, chewing food and ironically stated they were hungry. Offered a table of 4. We took 2 tables of 2 as the other guests were still unknown to us. Moved tables twice due to black ants on the silverware and table top. Food very ordinary. Room attendance staff were very polite and efficient, my room was very tired but very clean.

This property is looking a bit tired. It needs new carpet and the windows needed cleaning! We had a lovely view of the city except for the dirty windows.

The first thing I noticed was the room felt dull, old & tired. There was different coloured paint patches on the wall. The shower was good but there was mould on the tile grout & the shower curtain was really grotty. I didn't feel that the staff acknowledged my membership either.
