Hotel looks tired, not much in way of supermarkets, food stores nearby, no microwaves or toasters in rooms, staff were friendly though

The air conditioning in my room was not working the entire time and given that it was particularly warm yesterday the night stay was extremely uncomfortable. I did not report this last night as I did not want to change rooms. The reason for this is a reliable source who has stayed at the Mercure prior told me that she experienced bed bugs when she stayed there and I did not want to exchange one problem for another. It was also too late for me to find alternative accommodation which I did consider. I did ask your service desk team whether they could remove the carparking charge as a result of my inconvenience to which they gave me the managers card and told me to email. I have. No response as yet.

Great location, walking distance to hospitals. TV’s could have an upgrade and bed was a little uncomfortable other than this was a great stay.
