We book a number of rooms for a work conference (at least 9). One of our group ended up staying 1 night instead of 2. We communicated that. Then we had one of our party that could have stayed, but they had already re-let the room. This was frustrating as the room was already paid for - we could not get another room, a credit, a refund or anything. I was really disappointed.

Staff was amazing and welcoming, art is beautiful. Tiles in shower are slippery, and there was a little mould in the shower

The check in staff very very friendly and helpful. The process was very quick..the room was clean and well presented. The Chen is located very close to the shopping centre, restaurant s, the train station and tram stop. We were very happy with our stay.

My usual two-night stay at The Chen for work was excellent this week. I had asked for a room with a microwave and some mugs (minor but important details for me!) and the staff had it all sorted before I arrived. Lovely welcome food and drinks as well.
