It is a great day every time. Friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel is well located to everything, great if you want something not quite in the city but walking distance. The desk is also open 24 hours. The breakfast is well accommodating from my coeliac needs.

The reception team members were very friendly & helpful on arrival & departure. When we walked into our room, we found a lovely Easter surprise - a bottle of wine & chocolate. Our room backed onto the rail network so it was a bit noisy until late & then early the next morning. This aside we would stay again due to the location & convenience of walking to JC Arena & the MCG.

It was fine. Our room aircon was nonexistent so it was stuffy and warm but at least you can open the windows! Although it was better to close the windows to keep the traffic noise out. You win some, you lose some.

I got here quite late and slept for most of my stay however the room was nice and was in good condition, the TV was quite old but standard for the older Mantra brand properties. The bathroom could definitely do with some renovating, it was super old but the shower was extremely small, but did the job for what I needed. I was extremely happy with my welcome gift as an Accor member and appreciated the hotel adding a little something in for easter. I did think it was unacceptable to have one poor lady at the reception alone during checkout on a public holiday as there was extremely long lines and I had to wait about 5-10 minutes to checkout which I was annoying, but she was very polite so I have absolutely nothing against her but the management should have put some more staff on.
