Fabulous location. Comfortable, though a little tired around the edges. Would be great to get the front windows fixed as having the big cracks makes the hotel look unsafe.

The room stank of urine, towels were dirty, overall very poor cleanliness.

I arrived at the hotel and my first impressions were poor, broken glass in the sliding door at the entrance entrance more akin to a youth hostel than a 4 Star hotel. The reception process was ok, functional and transactional but not very welcoming. My main grievance however was the 2 bedroom suite, which was a huge dissapointment. The list of good points would be a shorter note than the array of issues. The 2nd bedroom had no natural light, this would have been acceptable had the light switch worked - instead you were unable to turn on the main light in this room as the switch was broken on the wall. The air-conditioning was noisy (even when switched off with the remote control) and when it eventually was turned off by the circuitbreaker, it dripped water all night onto the floor. The bedside lamp shades were wonky, there was four towels (no hand towles), it smelt stale and the general level of cleanliness was sub par. Over the last 40 years plus of using hotels, this is the first time I have ever requested a room change. The duty manager was polite and professional explaining that there was new management and staff and that they were trying to improve things, but they recognised there was more to do. No alternative room was available, so we spent our first night with no air-conditioning or bedroom main light - fortunately we were able to move for the 2nd night. While this was appreciated, it did disrupt our trip as it meant we needed to wait around in the city until the new room was ready ahead of our afternoon plans. This 2nd room was better, albeit still with wonky lampshades, a bathroom door lock that did not work and a single christmas decoration taped to a frame, giving the impression of a tired room. As a final insult, as a Accor silver member I was entitled to a welcome drink. This consisted of 3 extra bottles of still water! While I appreciate supplier issues or not having a bar on site can cause operational difficulties, I've not experienced this in any of the other Accor hotel I've stayed at, it feels like basic levels of hospitality were not met. I was also surprised that reception closed at 8 PM and you had to access the hotel entrance with your door card - not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. While I sympathise with the new management, and appreciated the duty manager was trying his best - this is a tired scruffy hotel that still charges premium prices. I would however like to make it clear that the duty manager's reaction to our issues was most professional and courteous.

Worst hotel – overpriced and risky

Worst hotel – overpriced and risky This hotel is not worth the price and may cost you money. 1. Double charge issue I was double-charged, and despite over two weeks of follow-ups, they denied any fault for more than two months without proper verification. Be careful with your payment. 2. Very poor service A simple request for a kitchen knife took three days due to staff miscommunication and shift changes. Unprofessional and unreliable. I do not recommend this hotel.

Cabinet doors sticking, water damage in cabinetry, Bathroom smelled like a mens public toilet. Accor App needs to be updated. Welcome drink on arrival? No facilities at this hotel? Bed and Breakfast available not this property. I was aware of this but app should be accurate. Couldn't check out online? Still haven't had my invoiced emailed to me?
