Room isn't cleaned regularly, room cleaning takes forever, staffs were rude, bath soap wasn't replenished even after request, breakfast is the same for 5 days, a disgrace to Accor.

There was a party going on at room 510 on Saturday night at 3:30am. Definitely the room had more than 2. I had to call the phone number at reception to get someone to attend to it. Lost my sleep and I was working over the weekend. Definitley the quality of people staying in this property iis poor. Mantra need to clearly have a declaration for partying and excess noise fines. Won't be staying here again.

Room noisy due to fan duct and extractors running constantly. WiFi next to non-existing with the uplink constantly dropping out. Kitchenette with a total inventory of three lids and one pan?! Rude staff with the most unfriendly attitude to customers that are (over)paying a lot to be underwhelmed by the aging attire. Was happy to leave well before my original reservation. Noted reception that my company was unable to reach them for an entire day. Got a big telling off that I should understand that they can be busy and don’t have time to answer the phone (question: isn’t that one of the major tasks of a reception?). Never coming back here again!

We checked in at around 12 p.m. and received an early check-in amount, there was no welcome food even though it was platinum, there was no water purifier, no explanation of other facilities

I booked through Corporate Traveller (our work provider) and most hotels are excellent, so I was a little surprised by several issues during this stay. The room itself was spacious, and the location was excellent. However, the cleanliness was below standard. The room was quite dusty—walls, floors, and lamps were all coated in dust, with streak marks suggesting partial attempts to clean. The shower also had black mould throughout the silicone, which was off-putting. I needed to request a new kettle as the original one wouldn’t switch off, and a light bulb needed replacing. These are minor individually, but they contributed to an overall sense of the room not being fully maintained. A more significant issue was the vent in the living area. During heavy rain, it produced an extremely loud noise that sounded like water leaking or rushing. There was no water entering the room, so it appeared to be rain striking exposed metal ductwork or an external intake above the room, with the sound being amplified through the vent (essentially acting as an echo chamber). This can occur when weather hoods, duct insulation, or acoustic lining deteriorate. It may be worth having maintenance inspect the rooftop ductwork or intake—particularly the rain hood, insulation, and any baffles or dampers—as these are common points where wind-driven rain causes loud internal noise. I reported the vent noise, the kettle, and the bulb, and these were all attended to promptly, which I appreciated. The staff I spoke with were pleasant and helpful. Finally, despite staying for five nights, there was no housekeeping service for the entire stay. I’m used to hotels offering at least alternate-day servicing, so five days without any housekeeping was unexpected. With more attention to cleaning and maintenance (and a fix for that vent), the overall experience would have been much improved.
