The place needs a bit of tlc. A bit run down and needs a proper clean, months of dust on light fittings and the kitchen was not well stocked with utensils. Lots of construction going on which disturbed us and we were put on the corner facing it all. Luckily we are early risers!

Needs soft closing toilet seat in rooms Gym was filthy Gym needs a make over, water towels ect Tissues need to be provided in hotel rooms also

It is always a pleasure to receive affirmative feedback as well as some feedback mentioning our shortcomings. I'm glad that you liked our location and facilities! On the other hand, I will bring thorough cleaning in gym to our housekeeping's attention and some makeover request to management team. Please, let the reception staff know if you need some more tissues or towels so that we can ask housekeeping team to action it accordingly. Bath towels are facial tissue are placed but replaced or topped up upon request. Likewise, vacuuming is done before new arrival though, it could have been missed partially within huge room and so, we can send someone up for vacuuming again with your request. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. perfect location, the rooms are always on point, unfortunately being on a low level floor (second stay in a row) it was noisy with the construction works and late night revelers. Nothing they can do about it. Very disappointed with the view of a brick wall.

Family trip and well catered for… unfortunately late checkout not recognized and needed to be reissued with cards.

Dear Simon, We truly appreciate your time for the comments regarding your recent stay at the Mantra 2 Bond Street Sydney. It is always a pleasure to gain feedback regardless of positive or negative. I apologize for the inconvenience of key stopped working. I will share your comments that the key wasn't cut till late check-out time(4pm) with our team member. As a loyal Diamond member, you have your welcome drink vouchers automatically updated on your Accor app and we have placed our amenities (a cheese platter, a bottle of wine, some still and sparkling water bottles, some orange juice bottles and some chips) for the same reason prior to your arrival. In the meantime, room upgrade from 2-bedroom apartment is not available even for Diamond guest as we only have 1 unit of Penthouse higher than 2-bedroom apartment in room category. Plus, the Penthouse was under maintenance for A/C and so, we didn't put it on sale as well. Thank you again for sharing your experience as we all strive to continuously improve the quality of our services., and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one. We arrived on Saturday afternoon. Construction was taking place late in the afternoon. Workmen were jackhammerijg late into the night, even at midnight. We asked reception if this was normal, he said its been happening for 6 months. Why wouldn't this be disclosed to us? There was rubbish directly outside the hotel doors for over a day with none of the staff noticing. The staff at reception seemed a bit bothered when we passed and sometimes did not even greet us when we walked by throughout the day. Not a great experience overall
