Our stay was extremely disappointing. The first unit we were given was in a state of poor cleanliness and disrepair. The smell upon entering was unpleasant, and there were dirty fingerprints on multiple surfaces including kitchen cupboards, bedside drawers, windows, and long‑standing dust on the windowsill. The spa bath had a large chip, and the desk was unstable and looked like it had been salvaged rather than maintained. The room also contained a double bed, which was unexpected. We requested a different room — something I have never had to do before — and were fortunate to be moved to a cleaner, better-presented unit. However, after spending around 90 minutes relocating and then returning later that evening, we discovered a large urine stain on one side of the bed. When we contacted reception, we were told housekeeping had finished for the day and that we would need to collect clean sheets ourselves and change the bed. After navigating between two towers and two lifts, our room key no longer worked, requiring another trip back to reception to have it reactivated. When we finally returned to the room, the clean sheet had been tossed in a heap on the floor outside the door. We then had to make the bed ourselves, adding another hour of inconvenience. Had we not already lost half a day dealing with room issues, we would have requested a refund and left. For a property under the Mantra/Accor name, this experience was far below acceptable standards. I cannot recommend staying here.

From the friendly greeting and easy check in on arrival, to the easy checking out process, we loved our stay. The hotel is in a great location within close walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, tram stop and supermarkets. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed - a small kitchenette and laundry facilities enabled us to eat in when we wanted and also meant less washing when we arrived home!! The facilities included 2 outdoor and 1 indoor pool, games room, spa, saunas, steam room and even an indoor cinema (we were disappointed it was already in use when we wanted to use it). We travelled with friends and all agreed we would stay here again. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

There is nothing wrong with this hotel or location, all really nice but I had a hard time trying to pay for it. I booked through Accor website and payment was due on a certain date. They sent a link to payment which did not work then on Accor website it said it was paid which I knew it wasn't, I left it as I got a text welcoming me. On the day of check in I get a call from Mantra saying it has not been paid, I told her I would just pay at the property and was told I could not as it had to be done via a link. She resent the link which didn't work again. Just before arriving at the hotel I get another call re payment but this time it was a guy and he was really rude. I told him I would sort it out when I got there. The guy at the front desk was empathetic and helped a lot as he said it was a different system. Bloody hopeless is what it was. Apparently this only happens with Mantra and none of the other Accor properties as they run on the other system. Not sure why front desk cannot take payments! Not really helpful for their customers.

I found the parking difficult as there were three different carparks and it was unclear where to go so that I spent $10 in a car park where I was there for 10 minutes before going to the correct car park.

Great location. Difficult to check in as there was no parking available for about 20 minutes, but that was due to an event on that we didn't know about it. Checking out the short-stay parking was available. Accessing the room was easy, except a faulty door handle lock meant that the door was left unlocked unless fiddled with to ensure the mechanism locked properly. The kitchen was not stocked with pantry essentials, which was disappointing. We also were not provided with basic cleaning supplies, or any spare rubbish bags or tissues, which was also disappointing.

We had a beautiful stay with spectacular views of the ocean and the passing whales and loved watching the slingshot in action! The apartment was immaculate presented and had everything we could possibly want to fully enjoy our stay. Thank you very much for making us feel so welcome and we will be back!
