A one night stop off with free parking & outdoor pool a bonus. Friendly welcome. Room was a little snug, but perfectly comfortable. Location was lovely - we enjoyed the riverside/marina french naval elegance.

I had booked a room with walk-in shower but got a shower with a step. My husband is in a wheelchair so this was a difficulty. The restaurant was booked for eight o'clock and when we arrived were chastised for being an hour late then after ordering we were waiting a while and they produced my husband and I our dinner, though unfortunately they delivered me the wrong meal. So I had to wait a while. This meant that my husband eat his meal whilst I looked on and he had to do the same. Also the water we ordered did'nt arrive until I chased it up. The other issue is that the hotel advertised wheelchair friendly but didn't say that the pool was only accessed by steep ladders with no roman steps. The only saving grace is that the hotel is conveniently located by the marina and the river giving it a beautiful view. So to summarise please make these issues clear on your website to avoid disappointing other wheelchair guests. Regards Barbara S.

The shower floor was lethal. WE are not handicapped but it was very slippery and there was no handrail! For people with difficulty seeing and needing light - the decor was too dark. A choice brighter lighting would have helped .
