I've stayed here twice now and the hotel is perfect. The pool access rooms are great, and whilst they directly access the pool, it still feels very private. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel are great, staff are fantastic. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal with a rotating wide variety of options from various cuisines every day. One day they were even making fresh creme brulee! And there's even a sneaky bloody Mary station. There's great recognition of status as well. As a platinum member we received an upgrade to the pool access room, as well as a complimentary 3 course dinner which was a very welcome surprise. This is our go to hotel when staying in Phuket.

It was a year ago we stayed at the Movenpick Myth in Patong. I was reminded by a memory on FB how much we enjoyed it and was annoyed with myself that I hadn't written a review, so here goes. This hotel is a hidden gem a few blocks back from the beach, but close to the night life. The rooms and facilities were all very modern and clean. Some rooms even have their own direct and private access to the beautiful pool. The pool is expansive and quite lovely as it winds through the resort and has a very nice swim up bar. Happy late every afternoon was a definite favourite. The restaurant food was always delicious and the service faultless, which I must say is common in Thailand as the people are so friendly and accommodating. A special mention has to go out to Gam and her co-horts at the pool bar. Gam is one of those rare individuals that makes your stay special with her playful personality, infectious smile and can do attitude. The Movenpick would do well to hold on to this rare find. Definitely recommend a stay here and we'll be back.

Beautiful Oasis in Patong

From the moment we arrived at Movenpick Myth we were blown away with the style and the welcome. As Accor members we received an update to a pool access room, probably the highlight of our trip as being able to step out into the pool from our door was just amazing and we spent lots of time in the water. The staff at the swim up bar, particularly Sunshine, were all super friendly and efficient. Chocolate hour was great and staff in the bar and restaurant made our visits very pleasant. Our room was spacious, the bedding extremely comfortable and once inside there was little noise from the pool fortunately, I had the best sleep! After our 4 nights we really didn't want to leave! The only downside was some guests who were loud and rather demanding of the staff at the pool and who played their own music loudly from their pool access terraces drowning out the pool music and making it a bit uncomfortable to be at the bar.
