There is something smell not good in the toilet and outside near the open parking area... it seems there is a problem with the drainage system cause the smell is popping out. Other than that, overall satisfied. It was a shore stay anyway, but I will try later to enjoy all the facilities provided there

As per Accor standard, prior to my arrival, the front desk was asking my ETA to the hotel; I arrived around 8:30pm. Upon opening the room, the aircon was turned off; the welcome chocolates were melted. My room was apparently facing the road side and about every 1-2 hours, the train horns were quite loud. During my second day, I was back at the hotel quite early, the room was properly cleaned up but the rubbish bin was not cleared. I guess each cleaner on duty has a different SOP. The third day of my stay, all the curtains were open, aircon were turned off; my room practically absorbing all the Surabaya afternoon sun. Apart from the above, I don’t feel it is a Mövenpick standard, it’s like Novotel or Mercure class. Overall cleanliness, hospitality and friendliness are ok. I will try another property within for my next trip to Surabaya.

We regret to learn that upon your arrival, the air conditioning had not been turned on despite our team having confirmed your estimated arrival time in advance. We also understand your disappointment regarding the melted welcome chocolates, which certainly did not provide the warm welcome we intended. Furthermore, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the noise from the nearby railway line, as well as the inconsistencies in housekeeping services during your stay. The oversight in not emptying the rubbish bin and the room being left with the curtains open and air conditioning turned off are not reflective of our housekeeping standards. Your comments have been shared with our Housekeeping and Front Office teams for immediate review and corrective action to ensure greater consistency and attention to detail. While we are pleased to know that you found our cleanliness, hospitality, and team friendliness satisfactory, we are disappointed that the overall experience fell short of the elevated service and comfort associated with the Mövenpick brand. Please accept our sincere apologies for the shortcomings you encountered. We value your feedback greatly and will use it as an opportunity to improve our guest experience. The room was clean and well-maintained. However, when I arrived, there was a car parked in the middle of the lobby entrance, which made it difficult for my vehicle to access the lobby. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but better management of the lobby area would improve the arrival experience.
