My family decided to take a break from Singapore and spend a few days on the beautiful beach at Homm Laguna (f.k.a. Angsana). Unfortunately, on our second day a family member had a medical emergency (no fault of the resort). It's in situations like this when service really matters. The care and concern demonstrated by the Homm staff was five star. At 8pm a resort car and driver took us first to the Lagoi Tourism Clinic for an ECG. At 1am two resort security guards drove us 1hr 20m to a Bintan hospital for an X-ray and examination. They stayed with us the whole time, helped translate, and drove us back to the resort at 4am. The resort also helped us arrange for a ferry the same day back to Singapore. When we checked out, I expected to see the cost of the late night service on my bill, but there was nothing - only genuine concern from the staff and a voucher for our resort stay that was cut short. Special shout out to Elvaretta and Maruli at Reception, Indra our driver to the clinic, Epi and Bunyamin our security escort to the hospital, Pancha the Front Office Supervisor, and Kris the Duty Manager. Thank you and great job everyone.

Nice place for a short holiday with family. Facility and beach are good. Ranger club is good for baby to stay in. Pool is good. Staff are very nice. Pancha, Dave and the girl from reception are nice and helpful

We booked the island family suite which has our own jacuzzi. The service was impeccable right from the ferry terminal pickup. All the hotel staff, including the handymen greeted us warmly and spoke to us asking about whether our needs are addressed. We have visited their restaurant at treetops at their sister hotel banyan tree; as well as the 8 elements spa; and their sat bbq dinner; everything was what we wished for. Kudos to Pancha and Dave; who has also kindly extended our checkout time to 3pm due to late ferry departure timing at 5pm. The only criticism I can give is the relatively age of the hotel. But all these are inconsequential due to the 5 stars service, food and amenities! We will only be staying here in our next visit to Bintan!

Tried and tested , old but good ! The resort stay was very pleasant , filled with warm welcomes and beautiful smiles :) though they rebranded form Angsana to Homm, the service amenities remained top notch we were pleasantly greeted and welcomed into the resort by both EL who works the reception counter and our breakfast server (the lady with the short hair but very very friendly and loud personality ; sorry we were not able to get her name ). Their friendly and cheerful personality really made us at ease and reluctant to leave the resort The staff here are always friendly and ready to help . Especially the concierge who ran up to me to help carry my bags. There is a mini mart and affordable food cafe a short walk away form the hotel; the pool water wasn’t very cold and transport was just a phone call away - via buggie or shuttle bus. The cookies and raspberry crossiant from the veranda was also great- and there’s a 50% off after 6pm Room view was great ! Although a little musty but it can be counteracted by airing the room from using balcony breeze for a while :) Overall a very good stay :) would recommend if you wanted to stay here for a short mindless and peaceful get away !

Great experience staying in Homm Laguna. Wonderful resort feel. Room is close to the pristine beach. All the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. As we only managed to booked the late ferry back, the resort gave us a late checkout. Special call out to reception staff Pancha for attending to all our needs expertly.
