The family room we booked was very spacious with balcony and large toilet. Amenities was sufficient, only the bathtub Pop-Up drain stopper is not functioning well. Chair outside the balcony is worn out and need to be changed or repaired. Good o have the shuttle service to Nagoya Mall. Breakfast was simple and sufficient. Overall good experience at the hotel.

Positive aspects of the hotel are the staff, pool and large, well-lit rooms. The chef was kind enough to prepare vegetarian breakfast on my request. Upholstery of my room (719) was bad. Only one vegetarian food option is there. Hotel taxis are expensive compared to Gojak or Grab taxis. No concierge facilities.

Been few times staying here and never disappointed me. Love the breakfast! Room is always spacious. Two points to be improved: 1. Pls refill the amenities, shampoo etc before guest checking in 2. As Gold member, I got late check out from a lady, she is good. I checked with Arif before and he straight to the forward saying that cannot and I had to pay more 3. Appreciate the welcome amenities of cookies, but it could be better maybe offering more local like kueh kueh/spiku or other things

Laura who checked us in and the reception staffs were very helpful in providing information and suggestions. They were attentive to highlight to us the details (eg. Spa closing hours and commuting to the ferry terminal). The security at the Guard house on 5 Jan morning was also helpful in showing us the direction to where we want to go. The skybar offers affordable set menu for couples/groups and kudos to the chef for the delicious meal! DJ spruce up the atmosphere. Love the outdoor ambience to soak up the Batam island life. The hotel is for fuss free travellers looking for a clean hotel and comfortable bed (so far the only hotel that provides bolster) with not much entertainment but offer a decent variety of food at breakfast (There are a few international channels but not many). Also, sound proofing of the rooms are not for the light sleepers. If you are looking to lounging around the pool area, then the hotel may not suit your agenda as it is not inviting (water/pool ground doesn't look as clean).there is a small playground in the compound. A few suggestions which I hope will be constructive and valuable in improving guests experience: 1) maybe provide ear plugs for the light sleepers 2) offer more channels on TV (eg. Soccer channels/movie channels) 3) not sure if there was advertisement on the sky lounge and food pricing. But this will help in increasing patrons to go to the bar 4) Create walking pavement for guests to explore the area around the hotel (eg. There is a church behind, could be useful for guest who wants to go service /mass) 5) I did not get a detail look at the shuttle bus that goes to Nagoya Mall but online, it shows 11am, 3pm and 6pm which are not ideal times. You may like to time it according to popular ferry arrival times or make a few more shuttle time options. 6) As the entertainment option in the hotel is very limited, you may want to extend the spa operation hours as they close at 7pm which is very early for guests who are in for a leisure trip. The ambience of the spa could be more inviting and friendlier. Would love to go back to Ibis but with more entertainment/relaxation options.

Noisy rooms

I came with my families, and specially booked 2 suits . However my room which face to main road, was noisy even after night peak hour. We could still hear the motor bike sound after 11pm, and even after we closed the balcony glass door! Another thing is I tried book it through the official Accor website but no room available even I am silver member. When I go to booking.com, was surprised that I can get 2 rooms! But I cannot gain points even though the reception assured me is possible because I made payment to the hotel, not the booking website.

Noisy rooms

I have the suit room but facing the main road. It is so noisy even after 11pm. We can't sleep and end up have to switch room in the middle of the night. Management please consider to double glazed or sound proof glass door , especially for the rooms facing the main road.
