Overall, my experience at ibis Styles London Gloucester Road was pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed for its price point. Additionally, the location near Gloucester Road station made it easy to get around the city. What surprised me was receiving several calls from the reception desk before I had even checked in, including one that came through past midnight. I understand that hotels may need to confirm arrival details, but the timing and frequency of the calls felt excessive, especially so late at night. A single message or a call at a more reasonable hour would have been much appreciated. That said, once I did check in, the stay itself was smooth and enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Would consider staying again, though I'd hope for a bit more consideration (or change in policy) around late-night communication.
