My stay at Mama Shelter Paris West was truly exceptional. From the very first moment, the entire team made me feel genuinely welcomed with such warm and authentic hospitality. I was also honestly surprised by how incredibly comfortable the beds were — probably some of the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. But what impressed me the most was the atmosphere created by the team at reception, led by the amazing manager Fred. His leadership, professionalism, and positive energy clearly reflect on the extraordinary reception team around him. Everyone was attentive, kind, approachable, and made the experience feel personal and memorable. A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such a special stay. I can’t wait to come back.

I work for an OTA that features 21 of your hotel's properties, including this one since 2020, so I have a genuine stake in seeing each property shine. I was in town for work with our parent company and was truly excited to stay here — the photos on our site made it look cool, trendy, and full of personality, far more so than other Paris properties I've visited. That excitement was well-founded in many ways: the decor delivered completely, with a fun, quirky, and modern energy that felt authentic rather than forced. The staff was diverse, warm, and clearly embodied the brand — a real highlight. That's precisely why I want to share some observations I hope will be taken in the spirit they're intended. A few maintenance and comfort details fell short of what I'd expect at this caliber of property. One elevator had a missing button. My room had visible damage to the toilet room door, apparently from the entry door handle, which seemed like something that would normally be addressed quickly. Most concerning was finding material in the toilet upon first use — not the welcome anyone hopes for. Sleep was also a challenge throughout my stay. The room was supplied with only a heavy down comforter and no top sheet, which combined with an air conditioning unit that wasn't functioning effectively made for warm, restless nights. The pillows were extremely flat; I requested replacements and the replacements were only a marginal improvement. I'd also note that the absence of an in-room tea kettle or coffee maker was noticed by myself and several colleagues who stayed here — this has been standard at the other half-dozen Paris properties I've visited through our platform, and guests do expect it. I share all of this because the bones of this property are genuinely excellent, and I'd love nothing more than to recommend it wholeheartedly. I hope this feedback is useful.
