I stayed four nights. The location was very good (4.5), as it was central for my purposes, and the airport was about 30-35 minutes away. Inexpensive taxis were abundant, through the YandexGo app. I reserved a 1-bedroom suite (#1102), and it was very good (4.5); it was large, nicely appointed, and clean. The hotel seems fairly new. The AC worked great, once I knew I had to notify the front desk to turn it on. Other than some street noise, the room was super quiet. The bathroom was nice, with a separate tub area. It took a bit of time to get hot water in the shower, though. Staff service was excellent (5.0); they were quick to answer my questions and requests. English was spoken by everyone, some better than others. For a mid-range hotel brand, the breakfast buffet was excellent (4.8). Lots of food and drink choices, including made-to-order eggs; however, I didn't know I could order them until my last day. They also had an array of French pastries each day. The food was good throughout the hotel, including in the bar. For my purposes, the gym facilities were fair (3.0), since it only had a set of dumbbells (2 to 20 kilos), a flat bench, an incline bench, and a few cardio machines. It was a disappointment.

Only Luke-warm water in shower available

Again Therme was Only Luke Warm water available in the Shower. Same thing as always! Mechanic could Not help!

Fantastic Welcome, as always, new management is friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Usual great staff, smiling, courteous and well trained. Local spa lady is an outlier--still refuses to smile (don't undertand what her deal is). F&B fantastic as always (late night behind the bar, and Alex at breakfast, Katya others, fantastic); Zhanar House-cleaning Manager is as detailed and competent as always, never tiring. Always a great respite to come to Almaty, however rarely. Grateful and well done! Five stars!!!

Good decent hotel

Decent 4 star hotel with decent sized rooms and good air con system . Breakfast is pretty decent and comprehensive . Rooms are relatively modern . Service and room service is also efficient . Only issue is that the water pressure in the toilet is pretty weak that fluctuates from hot and cold , strong and weak . Other than that , okay place to stay in .

Perfect hotel.in centre of city. 4 star so no swimming pool. We didn't have time to swim anyway. Easy to walk out along the streets. Rooms nice, staff attentive and friendly. A good place to be when we first arrived in the country. The views of the mountains are amazing when the sun shines.
