Hello, I am disappointed that I didn’t get Accor points for my stay at Rixos Almaty even though its can be booked from Accor website.

The lobby area looks ok but the rooms are in extreme need of renovation. The wall paper is torn at some parts, the carpet has dirt spots, the balcony door didn't work (open/locking), the shower had curtain instead of a door. The room towards the street was very noisy - each time someone locked or unlocked a car, you hear it in the room. Surprisingly the water pressure in the shower was good though.

I loved everything about this hotel. One of my best hotel experiences ever. The room was elegant, the shower was amazing and the balcony with the view of the snow capped mountains was breathtaking. I loved the breakfast buffet and had the best kimchi outside of Korea. I would love to return to Almaty and love to just relax at the Rico’s Almaty and explore the area more.

I think the hotel needs to be refurbished
