Great location to bakeries & eateries. It is a 10 minutes walk to underground metro & 25 minutes walk to the cathedral and green bazaar area. Ski resort & airport is only about 30 minutes ride away. Kok tobe is just behind the hotel. Water station is located on each level and pressure from shower is good. Clean and cozy rooms, highly recommended.

Good city centre hotel

My stay here did not start well as the hotel messed up the airport transfer on arrival and I was left stranded at 0430. They did, though, apologide with complimentary fruit, wine and bottled water and a free airport transfer on departure. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable (not lavish but standard Novotel standard), although the desk was a bit small. Breakfast was good and the bar and restaurant were lively and provided a good selection of food and drinks. There is also a fairly well-equipped gym too which looks quite new (and a swimming pool, which I did not use). The location is also very central, though I did not have time to explore the city. I would be happy to stay there again.

I WON'T STAY AGAIN

I stayed at this hotel last October 2025. During my stay, I lost some money from my room. I noticed that the room had been cleaned while I was out, as several items were moved and the bed had been made. In addition, I also lost my phone charger from the room. When I reported this to the receptionist, her response was very unprofessional. She appeared frustrated, hit the keyboard. Overall, many of the staff were not hospitable, and the experience was disappointing.

Good stay overall, what could be better is regarding pillows with not a great smell and receptionist on Friday for check out, was a bit rude and sounds annoyed when I asked to have a detailed invoice.
