I asked for an upgraded room and was quoted a suite price. Booking.com mentioned a junior suite which was less expensive. The reception made no mention of a junior suite before I brought up the Booking choices. Like most hotels we traveled to in Hungary, the reception bordered on cool to indifference.

Overall, a pleasant stay. Counter personnel were friendly and helpful, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. Ibis and All Accor communications are less helpful. Although I told the counter that I would be checking out at 4AM, Ibis sent me an email after 4 AM asking when I would be checking out: I had already returned my key to the desk. Online check-in was also problematic: All Accord emailed, texted and WhatsApp'd me about checking in two days before my arrival, but when I checked in online and All Accor promptly billed my credit card, All Accor still continued to email me to check-in. For the service received, Ibis Styles at Budapest is seriously over-priced.

All was well except a lift to the air terminal at 4 AM would have been appreciated. That service only starts at 8 AM.

The rooms are very basic and small , it’s not really comfortable to stay in the room.

The practical design of our rooms is intended to suit guests travelling through the airport, particularly for shorter stays, but we appreciate that this may not provide the level of space and comfort every guest is looking for. Well located, close to the airport, really convenient. The room with windows looking at the airstrip is a bit noise when planes take off. Clean, nice room, good breakfast. I also have one complaint. Despite I totally understand and support fight against child sexual exploitation, having these signs in the elevator and behind the check in desk is worrisome for a regular family. My 9 year old read the signs, and I needed to answer questions, which are important maybe too early for us. Also would add some trolleys to be able to take the luggage to the airport.

Efficient check in but the bar was closed when we arrived at 10.30 which was a disappointment following a long journey, although there was a complementary coffee machine in reception there were no facilities in the room to make a drink. The room was fine for one night.

Restaurant fermé, I got surcharged 10 euro for the second person in the room, my daughter room with 2 single beds, previously booked for 2 people. All this while being an Accor club member. All is about money, not much about the customer.
