The soundproofing of the room was very poor. I had also submitted my request for a quiet room before check-in, so I expected this request to be taken seriously and properly considered. Throughout my stay, I could frequently hear a strange “boom, boom” sound whenever guests entered or exited other rooms, including from other floors. This was particularly disturbing during midnight and early morning hours and significantly affected my sleep quality. I reported the issue to the front desk and was advised to request a room change. However, as I was already tired and staying for several days, I did not want the inconvenience of packing and unpacking again. There was also no further follow-up from the hotel. As a frequent customer who often stays for more than three days, having a quiet and comfortable room is very important to me. As this hotel is part of the Accor group, a well-established international hotel group, I would expect greater attention to guest requests, especially those submitted before check-in. I hope the hotel will take this feedback seriously and look into both the soundproofing issue and how guest requests are handled before check-in.
