You seem to be very obviously understaffed. I booked to be checked in by 11AM. I was told that the wait for my room to be available was 30 minutes. 30 minutes pass and I ask for any progress with the room, and I was then told that the first room available will be at 12:30PM. I was unhappy with this as I had a wedding to attend and wanted to have lots of time to prepare. I was finally given a room at around 11:50-12PM, with a total wait time of 1 hour. Just to make this clear, I had booked for early check in. I finally got to my room, and decided that I wanted to have a drink from room service. The phone was ringing for a very long time until it was answered. Once I made my order, it also took a long time to arrive. My sleep was interrupted. At 7AM, there were multiple knocking sounds from outside, and this woke me up. There was another guest who was disturbed by this. The actual room itself was good, however the service was not satisfactory. The service team were extremely busy and understaffed, and there seems to be poor organisation skills on the management's behalf. For a 5 star hotel, this is unacceptable. Since I had communicated that I would arrive at 11AM, I expect to be checked in at 11AM, 11:15 at the latest. I expect room service to actually answer my calls, and not be forwarded to reception, just to be told, "We will let the room service team know to contact you" I expect to be relaxed and not woken up at 7AM by random knocking outside. The best part about this stay was the bed. Thats about it.
