Novotel Surfers Paradise 4 stars

Had a very pleasant stay, lovely staff and will definitely stay again for future travel.

As someone who travels a bit, I really enjoyed my stay in the exec spa room. The only issue I had... and its not the hotels fault so I don't count it in my rating, is the live performers on Cavil Avenue. The sound proofing didn't stop the music from bothering us late into the morning. The room itself was stunning and the amenities we got for our anniversary was amazing. Thank you

Room had a beautiful view but that was about it. The carpet was smelly and stained in some areas. The aircon didn’t work properly. It was either not blowing cold enough or freezing the room despite what temperature you set it at. The bed was too soft which made it uncomfortable. The lifts were a headache because getting down from the 29th floor took so long because of all the stops. The problem was that the lift was already full after about 3 stops yet it would still stop at every second level just for people to not get in because it was full. Seemed a little redundant. Maybe a max number of stops on the lifts should be implemented. Also didn’t get our room cleaned on the second day even though we were out for a fair while and there was a bottle of milk that had been opened left in the fridge. Was a nice surprise when I wanted to make some coffee.

Loved the location of the Novotel, we've stayed here before and found it to be conveniently located close to everything, for example Woolies is basically down stairs. The first time we stayed here we stayed in a superior family room, which was great given it had a king bed in the main area and two single beds in the separate sleeping space for the kids, that made a world of a difference. The pool area is nice although the pool is a bit small for a hotel this size, so it can get busy at time. The fact that the only bar is down stairs on the ground floor and the pool is on level 5 does contribute to some extra wait time if you order drinks or food pool side, but in all honesty the location of the hotel makes up for it all.

We loved our stay here. From the warm welcome when we first arrived to the time we checked out everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Our room was fantastic. Comfortable, modern, large with amazing views of the ocean and Cavill Avenue. The location is perfect for all Surfers has to offer. The breakfast at BLV cafe was delicious with lots of choice. The pool and spa were very busy so we picked a quiet time to make sure we still enjoyed swimming and relaxing. We very much look forward to returning soon for another amazing stay. Thank you
