We booked the Fairmont Makati at the end of our family vacation, to be close to shopping and a simple transfer to the airport. We found the accommodation to be luxurious, and the service to be genuinely warm and welcoming; they anticipated our needs and provided classy solutions. The rooms are wonderful, the pool was cool, the old-fashioned grand lobby, the complimentary breakfast buffet. I've traveled through Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and Fairmont Makati was the best hotel experience. The only thing I wish is that the laundry shop were regular laundry shop prices, rather than luxury hotel prices... I walked my clothes a couple blocks to a neighborhood wash-and-fold, it would be super cool if that were slightly more convenient.
