The staff were really friendly and the breakfast is a good spread. There were sufficient dining options and an underground connection to Landmark. I enjoyed my stay and would visit again.

Wonderful time in a very good hotel

We had three nights in the Makati Fairmont Hotel and we really loved it, the location is very convenient, our room on the Fairmont Gold Level was very nice, spacious, tasteful interior and with the view over the pool. Breakfast buffet had a big selection of many different kinds of foods, very yummy! We had access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge which is also located in the 7th floor and really enjoyed our time in there for a nice cocktail or a glass of wine in the evening or just a cappuccino in the afternoon. I want to say a special thanks to Angelo and his team from the Fairmont Gold Lounge for the warm hospitality and helpful support!

It was generally a very pleasant stay. It's our second time to stay in Fairmont, the first one was when we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary in 2017. We came early and receptionist gave us a room, we started swimming after putting our luggage. When we come back I found an anniversary cake and wine which I really appreciated compliments of the hotel. The staff are very approachable.

I think one of the key assets of Fairmont is its service staff, from the guards to the front desk, to the buffet breakfast staff who welcomed us, all the way to housekeeping. They were accommodating and positive. I also love the toiletries, makes you want to take a bath every hour! hehe. The food at Spectrum was also delicious and had a good selection.

My stay was good, except for one frightful experience when I was nearly electrocuted from a loose live wire from the mini bar in the room. When I called to report it, the director of rooms, a nurse and some staffs came immediately to my room to attend to me. Fortunately, I was not hurt except for the moment of shock! For the breakfast buffet, I feel that it is far below my expectation compared to similar 4-5 star hotels like Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Shangri-la, New World, Dusit Thani.

location is good. however, housekeeping didn't clean the room. saw trash in trash bin when I arrived. there was food left inside refrigerator when I arrived. there was some hair on the bedsheet as well. tv cable subscription also not good because channels subscribed are not often watched. key cards at times do not work in elevators. on the other hand, I do appreciate staff's patience and professionalism in the midst of a full house. my request for an extra bed was accommodated even if I was initially informed that it is no longer available.

- Upon arrival nobody has extended help considering I am with a senior citizen. - Check in took more than an hour. There is no online check in option - Hotel room is modern and very relaxing. High ceiling room made it more elegant - Breakfast that was included was also satisfying. - Water was leaking from the shower area so it felt unsanitary using toilet.

First time to stay at Fairmont and I was impressed! We booked the hotel to stay near the pink rally and got the Fairmont Gold room. What really stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. They handled the fairly large crowd efficiently, and they were very courteous and friendly. Plus plus points for Fairmont! Special mention to Gold Lounge staff Jaz who was amazingly tireless serving everyone til late, and showing up again at breakfast. Wow! You really have dedicated staff. The rooms were also spacious, clean and well maintained and appointed. I called room service to ask for amenities and the guy (didn’t get his name) shuttled back and forth 3 times since I kept forgetting some items I needed and each time he came back with a big smile. I can’t ask for more. I’ll certainly choose this hotel over other Makati hotels and will recommend to family and friends. Great job Fairmont!

Check-in was friendly and efficient at the Fairmont Gold lounge. My request for the change in bed type (from king to double) was taken note of, but was surprised that the Fairmont Fit attire requested was not prepared upon check-in and I had to call for it to be sent. Also, was wondering why there was no welcome amenity in the room, unlike previous stays. Rooms need a bit of freshening up as it shows signs of wear and tear, especially the lighting fixtures. Overall, service was still friendly and prompt, although I believe it takes some getting used to again, especially after the hotel reopening after closure due to COVID.

Nice rooms, nice amenities, the gold lounge is outstanding. Everything that you would want from a great hotel. And this from a guy that spends, over 300 nights a year in hotels. But what really sets the Fairmont apart is the exceptional staff. To an individual they greet guests, remember their names, are polite, are helpful. I can't say enough good things. Two little things? I gotta complain a tiny bit.....One is that even though I've stayed at the Fairmont several times, I, for the life of me, cannot figure out their coffee machine in the Gold rooms. Please consider having instructions. I keep meaning to call somebody to show me, but when I think about it, I've just gotten out of bed - look terrible - and need caffeine. Who wants somebody to visit the room then? Not me. The other thing that is (a tiny) bit annoying is that the the sheets are so well tucked into to very high mattress, that they only reach my shoulders - and I just cannot pull them higher. I kinda like to "snuggle" and just can't. Overall a terrific place. Like it alot, and recommend it.....but when the bellman is showing you the room, ask him (her) how to use the coffee machine. :)
