A truly outstanding experience from start to finish. The team at Fairmont Hotel Makati provided warm, professional service and made every interaction effortless. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and the attention to detail is exceptional. There was a small issue with my colleague's booking due to an internal miscommunication; however, it was addressed promptly and resolved in no time by the amazing Duty Manager, AJ. Everything was exceptional until our second night. We were woken up by loud noises from above us which started at 3AM. We kept waking up until 6:20am when loud hammering sounds started and my husband called front desk about it. We were transferred right away (which we truly appreciate) to another room but it was a downgrade from the original room. I know it because the shower area is smaller and amenities/toiletries are not the same as our original room. From room 839 to 413 for reference. But we didn’t mention this anymore because we don’t want to move again. We slept until 11am because we were so tired from frequent waking and so we were not able to avail the breakfast buffet which was a bummer because usually the hotel has a good spread. But also the hotel made up for the inconvenience and gave us a late check out until 5pm. Which we used to just order and eat late lunch at the lounge. Again this is no ones fault and Im just being objective with my experience and feedback. I appreciate the duty manager who assisted when our new room key card didn’t have lounge access at first but reverted it right away. I just hope whatever repairs happened that morning was done and that this wouldn’t happen to anyone. I am a gold/explorer member and so there is a lot of confidence that I have in the quality of this hotel. I will still go back. This wouldn’t hinder me from enjoying Fairmont again. Thank you
