All Hotel staff were warm and accommodating, serving with smiles on their faces. The personalized greeting to celebrate my 44th birthday along with the cake and pastries were delightful. Loved the music and the afternoon tea set at The Writer’s Bar. Kids enjoyed the lap pool where we spent our afternoon. The cocktails at 6 set the mood for a lively evening spent at the Longhorn bar. Breakfast with the family at Mireio was exceptional - talk about fine dining with stunning view of the city. Our 2-night stay at Raffles was perfect. We’ll definitely go back.

great location, but for this price? i'll not recommend room cleanliness needs improvement bed was squeaky and uncomfortable bathroom amenities were of poor quality swimming pool hygiene was not up to standard breakfast was way below average - limited menu options, taste was so-so, service was not so great, the new 'breakfast system' felt like a budget cut

I had a wonderful stay at Raffles Makati. The room was comfortable with great views, and I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the concierge team. They kindly sent up the medicines and snacks I had ordered from outside, making my stay all the more comfortable. It is in the thoughtful service, the care taken with the room, and the small gestures that make a guest feel truly looked after. Thank you to the team for making my stay so memorable.

Excellent service from JP, butler assigned to me. He was responsive ; went the extra mile when needed; and very organized. All of the employees I interacted with from senior management to the. housekeeping team were helpful. I had the opportunity to meet a couple of senior managers and the chef. All were very open to feedback. The two areas that could be better are the food service for breakfast and the quality of the pillows.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our feedback regarding our recent stay. Overall, our experience with the reservation, arrival, accommodation, and service was very pleasant. The online reservation process was smooth, and upon arrival, we were immediately assisted and offered welcome drinks. We also appreciated having our Personal Butler present during the room presentation. The suite itself was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with excellent amenities. Most especially, thank you for preparing the thoughtful birthday welcome for my husband. It was a lovely gesture and added a special touch to our celebration. Our primary concern, however, was the quality of the food served throughout our stay. Given Raffles' standing as a Forbes-recognized luxury property and Michelin Key hotel, we came with understandably high expectations. Unfortunately, we felt that the overall food quality, presentation, and flavor profile did not consistently reflect the standard we associate with a five-star luxury hotel. For the Afternoon Tea, the TWG tea itself was excellent. However, we found the pastries and canapés underwhelming. Some of the pastries and chocolate elements were noticeably hard, and flavor-wise, the selections lacked the refinement, depth, and elegance we expected. We also waited approximately 40 minutes before our afternoon tea was served. The attendant sincerely apologized for the delay, which we genuinely appreciated. Nevertheless, in terms of the food itself, this was unfortunately the most disappointing part of our experience. During the Evening Cocktails, the drinks were satisfactory, but the food selection was again disappointing. The portions and variety were very limited, and some items were quite dry. We had expected a more thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality hors d'oeuvres, canapés, nuts, or other light bites appropriate to an evening cocktail service at a luxury hotel. Because of this, we eventually decided to order à la carte, but unfortunately, we were still not particularly impressed with the food. For Breakfast, the service was good and attentive, but the food itself was again only satisfactory rather than exceptional. Across all three dining experiences, there seemed to be a noticeable gap between the excellent level of hospitality and accommodation Raffles provides and the quality of its culinary offerings. We share these observations constructively because many aspects of our stay were genuinely enjoyable. The room, amenities, personalized touches, and attentive service reflected the Raffles experience we had anticipated. We simply hope that the culinary experience can be brought to the same level, as food is also an important part of the overall luxury hospitality experience. We will soon have the pleasure of staying with you again, and we sincerely hope that by then, these concerns regarding the culinary experience will have been addressed. We truly look forward to returning, and hopefully, on our next visit, the dining experience will match the exceptional service, accommodation, and hospitality we have already experienced. It would be wonderful to finally be able to say that our Raffles Makati stay was exceptional in every aspect. I had originally reserved a room at Fairmont Makati. However, upon arrival, the front desk team at Fairmont professionally and warmly escorted me to the Raffles building to process my check-in. Being upgraded from a high-end property to an exclusive, 32-suite luxury residence was an absolute privilege and a most pleasant surprise! As it happens, I have already booked another stay at Raffles Makati in four weeks, and this initial experience created a fantastic first impression. From the very first day, the room experience fully met the highest standards of luxury: Space & Comfort: The generous room layout, excellent sleeping environment, and premium bath amenities reflected the true luxury of the Raffles brand. Attention to Detail: The turn-down service, as well as the thoughtful selection of welcome fruit and snacks, were simply flawless. Thank you for extending the privileges at the iconic Writer’s Bar and Mireio: Writer’s Bar (Happy Hour): The dried fruits and banana chips served during the evening Happy Hour were exceptionally delicious and of remarkable quality—so much so that I would love to know which local Philippine brand you source them from! Writer’s Bar (Afternoon Tea): The pastries during afternoon tea were slightly underwhelming in terms of texture (especially when compared to my previous stay at Raffles Phnom Penh). Nevertheless, the atmosphere remained world-class, though a refined touch on the pastry texture would elevate the experience further. Mireio Breakfast (9th Floor): The overall variety and taste were very good. The only disappointing aspect was that the fresh fruit was quite firm and lacked sweetness (falling short of the standards at Raffles Phnom Penh, and even slightly behind Crowne Plaza Galleria in the same city). Given the importance of fresh fruit in a tropical location, I hope this can be further enhanced. Late Check-out: Although I was granted a modest 2-hour late check-out extension, I fully understand this was likely due to high occupancy. Special Thanks: I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Sheenah at the front desk for her warm hospitality, and to butler Marco for his professional and thorough room orientation. Both made me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay. An Exceptional Stay — Truly Above and Beyond I highly recommend Raffles Makati if you are celebrating a special occasion. We have stayed at different five-star hotels in the Philippines, and I can honestly say that Raffles has given us the best customer service experience we have ever had. We stayed at Raffles to celebrate my husband Ernesto’s 40th birthday, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely special. The level of service, warmth, and attention to detail from the entire team was exceptional. You can really tell that the managers and leaders have done an amazing job training and empowering their staff. The “royal treatment” we received throughout our stay made the celebration even more meaningful. Before our stay, I emailed the Raffles team to ask if it would be possible to arrange a small surprise for my husband. What they prepared went far beyond what I expected. We were welcomed with a beautiful birthday amenity that included a chocolate fondant cake, lemon and coconut macaroons, fruits, and wine. They even incorporated an Indiana Pacers theme, which is my husband’s favorite team. That personal touch meant so much to us. I would especially like to commend Yvonne and the Royal Service Team for arranging the birthday amenity. The effort, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. They went the extra mile and went above and beyond my expectations to make Ernesto’s milestone birthday special. Sheena from Reception was also wonderful. She assisted us from check-in, helped us make our afternoon tea reservation, and patiently explained the benefits of our Accor membership and other hotel amenities. She was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Our Butler Uno and the other Butler were equally exceptional. They assisted us to our room and even prepared a candle for Ernesto’s cake and sang “Happy Birthday” to him. It was such a simple gesture, but it made the moment feel very personal and memorable. The Housekeeping team also deserves recognition. They kindly provided us with extra bottles of water and even offered to clean our room again. These small details showed how attentive they were to our needs. We also had a wonderful experience at Mireio. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent service. The dining area also had a beautiful view, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Our experience extended beyond the hotel room and restaurants. Butler JP kindly provided a manual inflator for our son Lucas’s inflatable pool toy. The pool attendant was incredibly friendly and accommodating—he even offered to manually pump the toy for Lucas and provided us with extra towels. He greeted us warmly with a genuine smile every time we saw him. We would also like to commend Erica and the team at Writers Bar for their excellent service during our afternoon tea and evening cocktails. They were attentive, welcoming, and made both experiences enjoyable. Even the receptionist who assisted us during check-out was warm and friendly. The guards and the other staff members we encountered throughout the hotel were consistently helpful, courteous, and accommodating. And of course, the hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the view from the rooftop bar, the view from our room, and the beautiful dining area at Mireio. Everything contributed to making our stay feel special. Most importantly, Ernesto and our son Lucas had such a wonderful and memorable time. As a family, we truly appreciated how Raffles made us feel welcomed and cared for—not just as guests, but as people celebrating an important milestone together. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was extraordinary. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my every need with genuine warmth and efficiency. Their breakfast buffet is exceptional with a fantastic selection of delicious food, and you really can’t beat the prime location in the heart of Makati. What a memorable experience from the start to finish. The team at Raffles Makati are all as 1 team and have the innate desire to serve and do their jobs exceptionally well. From the drivers, the front office, restaurant staff and the butlers they all are wonderful and well appointed staff.

We've been in a lot of 5 star hotels around the world. What sets Raffles Makati apart from all the rest, is the outstanding attentiveness of the staff, everyone from porter to housekeeping, buttler and receptions are going above and beyond to make sure you got all you'd possibly need to feel as comfy as possible. We barely even had to ask for anything since the staff always proactively seemed to know exactly what we want and when. Staff like this really make a difference in good hospitality and they should all receive a decent raise. Thanks everything and hope to be back shortly.

Had a fantastic experience at Raffles Makati, attended with great hospitality and service by Butler Uno. Had an immersive art tour to learn more about the heritage and design touches of the hotel by Jordan. Would love to return for a longer stay next time

Luxurious get-away in the heart of the city. We hardly get to have a relaxing weekend since we work from Monday to Saturday. So this Sunday to Monday (holiday) overnight stay was a real treat!
