Checking, high tea and in room experience very nice. Dinner at Mirèio was good. Breakfast was a disaster. We arrived at 10.30. I ordered 2 sunny side up eggs; baked tomatoe and baked beans. Eggs arrived and I was informed that they are out of tomatoes…ok. Then I asked where the beans were. They arrived after minute but were cold. I complained and they brought me back a hot bean plate after I finished the eggs. So I went to the buffet at 10.45. Salmon was empty and I asked for a few slices but they never came. So I ate bred an a bit of cheese. At 10.50, most waiters were very busy setting the lunch tables which we didn’t appreciate as it killed the ambiance. Then after 10mins we decided to checkout (as per plan). The checkout staff asked how our stay was with a big smile. I said so so….this should be an indication to perhaps check what went wrong…nothing….do the question was an automatism without true intention. To sum it up, while the property is great, we likely not come back and choose other properties for special ‘in city’ experiences. (Staycation)
