The service was excellent. We celebrated our daughter's b-day and we wanted to surprise her. The staff kindly made sure to decorate the room beautifully. My husband and I were planning to buy a cake but the staff took the extra mile to include it in the whole set-up.

I like the overall service of Novotel Araneta. It is what keeps us coming back. From Joshua and Jana of the lounge and the rest of the lounge staff that I am unable to name. Housekeeping is also nice.
Cheeky request, the soap scent can be a bit overwhelming in the senses that it makes me and my family nauseated. I don't know if this is just me but it has a hint of Jasmine which is known to cause nausea. However, I checked the name it's supposed to be citrus ocean. If you can change the soap trademark scent, it will be even wonderful but this is for the Novotel Hotels here in the Philippines not just Araneta.

Started from booking it, Jana already messaged me and asking for what I would be needed or expecting. From check in, Angeli was so pleasant and took out luggages until my room was ready. Got to the room and within minutes, someone was knocking and asking if we need something. I was the guest of the day and had access to the premier lounge. It was amazing. The concierge and attendants were consistently courteous, accommodating, and kind, which made our arrival and interactions pleasant. However, there were several issues that affected our stay.
Upon checking into our room, we were disturbed by loud grilling and hammering noises above us, seemingly from construction. My little girl was about to sleep, but the sound frightened her.
In one of the rooms my parents stayed in, the shower did not function properly. It took a long time for warm water to come out, and when the turn handle was maximized, water splashed uncontrollably around the bathroom.
The air-conditioning unit appeared worn out. Adjusting the temperature was difficult, as the room temperature did not respond to the settings displayed on the screen.
On the positive side, the Wi-Fi connection was excellent. We were able to stream Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and other apps seamlessly on the smart TV.
The children’s play area was well-maintained and offered many options. It would be even better if the hotel implemented mask-wearing for kids with coughs or colds to help prevent virus spread.
The food buffet had a wide variety of dishes, though some items tasted a little bland.Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient.
Overall, my family enjoyed our stay, thanks to the friendly staff, good amenities, and family-friendly facilities.

It was great! However, I would like to point out that it was raining, and water was getting into the room somehow. There was a patch of the carpet that was wet and we know we didn't bring water there.
We saw a similar occurrence out in the lobby of our floor; there was water coming in from the glass windows somehow. You need to look into that.

It was disappointing that prior to me getting my limitless membership, i experienced better customer service. Our room had a leaking tub, after one short use water has reached the door. the tint of the bathroom sliding door has gaps around the circle handle which made the inside visible outside. The toilet bowl seemed to move when sat on. The top of the sliding and water closet doors were black from dust. The extra beds took three follow ups and 3
Hours even if we didnt immediately go to the rooms upon check in. The carpet in the living area was also itchy, it might not have been vacuumed properly. During breakfast i had to ask for coffee multiple times because the wait staff didnt bring one when requested, in fact i ended up asking someone else to bring one. This was after how many attempts to get their attention because some would ignore our calls even when they would pass by right beside our table. I also noticed that dinner buffet options are getting fewer and fewer compared to our first few times of dining there, and there were plates under the counters that were dirty and some glasses had visible marks. When i checked regarding late check out, i was told they would get back to me but didnt. I had to call again an hour before standard check out to see if it was possible. Its my sixth stay in novotel, and the first stay as a limitless member was the worst. I didnt even feel that the membership i paid was worth it.

The hotel is nice and eco-friendly, but there are a few things that could be improved. When I arrived via Grab, none of the bellboys offered to help with my luggage or even open the door, despite several of them being outside. I had to bring everything in myself, which was disappointing compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at.
The room size was okay, but the soundproofing was not great. I could hear faucets, showers, and conversations from neighboring rooms and outside, especially since my room had a connecting door. It was quite irritating when trying to get a good night’s sleep.
I appreciate the hotel’s eco-friendly concept, but better service and soundproofing would definitely improve the overall experience.
