We booked, 2 rooms for 3days and 2nights for my daughter's graduation in UST Spana. Hotel is 15-20mins away so it was very convenient. View from the pool and breakfast is very refreshing Manila Bay and Manila Yacht club. Good food, nice coffee -- what can I ask for more? Only the rooms are not very noise proof. We are located at 3rd floor facing Roxas Blvd at car engines and horns can't just be ignored.

I have to call the concierge five (5) times for the housekeeping. Even so, it took them 3 hours before responding. FYI, we are staying in the suite room. The pool? It’s nasty. They don’t even clean it.

Although I only stayed for a night and was not able to fully utilize the hotel facilities, I’d still rate the stay as excellent. Upon entering the room, it was as if I was taken back to 1940s. Not that it was bad, but because it felt like I was reliving history. It had a “1900s diplomat or ilustrado only” vibe—as in the Manila Hotel vibe, but at the same time it has some modernity in it. No wonder it was included in the Michelin list for PH hotels. The only problem I had was that the sink in the room I stayed in had leak, but it only became manifest before I checked out so I did not have time to raise it to the management.
