The check-in and check out were below expectations. Overall resort staff were alright. Buggy was slow and long waits. Rooms were boutique, unique, but could do with more attention to detail. For eg. The jacuzzi room’s jacuzzi wasn’t working on the first night.
Breakfast could be a bit better.

My stay at Avista Hideaway Patong Resort & Spa Phuket - MGallery Collection was a great stay! It was my first time in Phuket and as a solo female traveler, I never felt unsafe while stay on the property. The rooms were regularly serviced (if you wanted it). The rooms are modern, spacious and luxe. I stayed in the room with the whirlpool and private pool (which were cleaned regularly, so I didn't have to go to one of the main pools if I didn't want to). The lights, TV, aircon, everything were controlled by a panel on the headboard so it was nice to not have to get up to turn everything off. The front desk were so helpful with organizing shuttles, excursions etc. Tip, Peng and Lisa at the Vista Restaurant for the all inclusive dinner were so nice and attentive; they remembered my food allergies and even brought me a cake for my birthday. Cartoon at Jivana Spa was also amazing; all of my treatments were divine and she even sang me Happy Birthday! The one downside was that there was construction in progress on the villas nearby, which caused some noise disturbance throughout the day but was less noticeable by the pool. All in all, I would definitely return.

My family and I recently spent six nights at Avista Hideaway and had a genuinely excellent experience from beginning to end!
The general resort experience was fantastic with smooth check-in / check-out, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, and a super convenient buggy service for drops and pick-ups across the property. The absolute highlight of our stay, however, was the dining. We ate at Tambu for four of our six nights, because we couldn't get enough — the food was absolutely divine and easily the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. Each meal contained rich and genuine flavours and was beautifully presented. We also spent sunsets at Sizzle, soaking in the views and trying out their amazing cocktails.
A huge shoutout to the team who made our dining experiences so unforgettable:
Akhilesh and Anusha (Managers at Tambu) – We would like to thank you for your kind hospitality, your excellent attention to detail, and the fact that you made our family feel so well looked after during all four of our meals.
Chef Saurabh – Congratulations on creating such an incredible dining concept in Tambu! Thank you so much for the personal touch and taking the time to meet with our family on our final night. Your culinary genius made every meal unforgettable, and we wish you all the continued success for the future!
Arjun (Mixologist at Sizzle) – I’m typically a whisky drinker and love a solid Old Fashioned, but your Paan Rob Roy was on another level entirely! Truly a unique, exceptional creation. You seriously ought to patent it! Thanks for making our evenings so memorable.

We stayed 7 days and had a great time. Stay came with drink and food vouchers and a massage each. Was a little way from the main beach but they had Courtesy buses to get you in and out of town and it made for a relaxing and quiet stay away from the business of paying beach. Would highly recommend

From the moment we arrived we were treated with exceptional hospitality, friendly welcoming smiles from all staff who went above and beyond to cater our every need.
Everything about the Vista Hideaway is exactly as they advertise, lovely comfortable rooms, amazing dining, relaxing pools and views out of this world.
For the entirety of our 7day stay I cannot fault a single thing about this place from the moment we arrived until the moment we farewelled, it was truly an absolute pleasant holiday experience beyond our dreams.

We loved every minute of staying at Avista Hideaway Phuket. This place is well situated on the hillside of Patong. It was near enough making it easy to go get to the busy nightlife but far enough for us to get a peaceful stay with a beautiful ocean and mountain surrounding. The hotel itself is beautiful with Thai architect and decoration. The view on top of the rooftop bar and restaurants were stunning during sunset. There are 3 different pools for you to choose from so you never feel like you have to fight for a pool bed. I love the fire show with staff going around offering guests Thai tea and desert. I thought this was a really nice highlight. What stood out to me the most is the hospitality of all staff here. In particular, Mona has gone above and beyond for us from the moment we arrived insuring not only to have our needs met but exceeding our expectation. Every moment was a warm and welcoming and every issue was rectified with a smile. I couldn’t thank you and all the staff enough for making our 1 week here so amazing and memorable. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to Phuket. Would also highly recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Avista Hideaway Patong Resort & Spa, MGallery Collection. The property is beautiful, the ambience is peaceful and luxurious, and the overall experience was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phuket.
A special thanks to Santosh, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. His support, hospitality, and willingness to go the extra mile made our experience even more memorable. Staff members like him truly make a difference and reflect the high standards of the hotel.

A truly unique and boutique-style resort, tucked away in the hills with beautiful views over the Andaman Sea. It’s a great place for those looking to slow down and simply enjoy the resort in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
I was particularly impressed with the breakfast buffet. The selection was excellent, and the quality and attention to detail in even the smallest condiments really stood out.
The location is a little away from the main areas of Patong, but the complimentary shuttle service to Jungceylon makes getting around quite convenient.
I shared some of my additional feedback directly with the Front Office team during my stay. Overall, a lovely and peaceful hideaway with a character and atmosphere that feels quite different from a typical Patong resort.
