I had a generally positive experience at this hotel. However, the experience was dampened during check-out. There was nobody at the gate to assist with our luggage, leaving us to manage it all ourselves. It was a disappointing way to end an otherwise good visit.

It was wonderful experience at the property for our 4 night stay. Every staff was courteous and helpful. People ready to serve you better. Special mention to Ms Mazda, Ms Mate (Spa), Mr Arun T, Mr Leo for their customer centric approach. Cleanliness in the rooms can be improved (as we stated in pool access deluxe rooms).

Overall we enjoyed our time at Avista Hideaway. The location is quiet compared to the business and noise pollution in Patong. They have a free shuttle service that runs which is great and we saved a bit on this. The resort is slightly dated, but none the less is nice. I thought the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better but overall it was clean. I like that the resort is trying to decrease its carbon footprint. The staff were lovely and always very helpful. They definitely make the stay that much more enjoyable. Would stay there again.
