Front desk staff we're amazing. Extremely polite, helpful and lovely people.
I would have to say that these were the most uncomfortable beds and pillows I've experienced in some time. Another issue i had was every day I left my spare room card in the slot for the lights and AC and your room service attendants removed them and took them away. It was extremely humid and warm the days I was there and to come home to a hot room was not pleasant.
The coffee we paid overs for at the buffet breakfast we're some of the worst coffees we've had in some time. I would look to improve on this area.

We were extremely disappointed that at the time of booking (two seperate stays) we were not advised the restaurant/bar/cafe would not be operating. This caused inconvenience travelling with small children and as we arrived late walking to the main hub of south bank (with a 2yo) isn’t that quick.

Arrived at the hotel to be told that the breakfast are, lounge and bar area were out of bounds for our whole 10day stay. This was completely unacceptable. If we had known prior, we would have relocated to another hotel. We felt financially trapped and had no recourse with the hotel. Hugely disappointing.

Continuing construction work made my stay unpleasant and my rooms cleanliness was low. The soap and shampoo canisters in showers had grime all behind it, the draws that had the glasses and cutlery were gross.

my issue was no one reads and talks to understand what the client has booked for.
When i arrived i was asked to use this system and check in then she asked that i pay, however my agent had booked the room and already paid for the accommodation. There didn't seem to be an alert. i wanted to change rooms and stay for an additional night. When i paid to do this, it was approved and told that they will place my bags in the new room. When i went to pick up the new access card they couldn't tell me if my bag was placed in the room. The following day i was out and rung to ask why i didn't vacant the room, when i mentioned i paid for an additional night they hadn't checked and apologised. When i went to use the access card to park in the carpark it had denied access so i went to reception who found that the card issued was cancelled and they forgot to reinstate it. Also, for breakfast one day i was shown a seat i got up to go to the buffet on my return someone had sat in my seat at the table left me feeling stupid and i had to find another table. I asked if there were any tissues available at the counter and were offered serviettes?????

Very disappointed that you were having renovation going, which we were not told about, it was very hard as we were up at 5.30 and got back at between 7/8 in the evening no where to have drink, and sit down with the party of 33 people to enjoy each others company, we had to go out and find places to eat and drink, bearing in mind most restaurants closed at 21.00 hrs

I know you are doing reservations - however one of the days - I was turned away from Breakfast as the room was full. Surely it should have been mentioned at check-in that that might happen - no that couldn't happen because it is a kiosk check-in!

I would like to express my disappointment with the way my room booking was handled.
I made my reservation several months in advance and was looking forward to staying in the room I had selected. However, the night before my arrival, I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that the hotel intended to move me to another room.
What frustrated me most was the way the situation was communicated. Rather than being upfront about the reason for the change, the staff member repeatedly tried to convince me that the alternative room was better because it had an accessible bathroom.
I explained that I did not require an accessible bathroom, but the conversation continued until I finally asked directly, “Are you trying to move me because the hotel is overbooked?” The staff member confirmed that this was the case.
I was frustrated because I would have appreciated honesty from the beginning. If the hotel was overbooked, I would have preferred to be told that directly rather than having the alternative room presented as though it were an upgrade or a better option.
I had booked my room months in advance, and the overbooking was not my fault. I therefore do not understand why I was selected to be inconvenienced, particularly when I had made my reservation well ahead of time.
Unfortunately, the alternative room did not meet my expectations. The accessible bathroom had a very large, open shower area, which caused water to spread across the bathroom floor. This was inconvenient and uncomfortable, and it was certainly not the experience I had been looking forward to.
Overall, I found the experience disappointing and frustrating. I understand that unexpected situations can arise in the hospitality industry, but I believe guests deserve honest communication and fair treatment, particularly when they have booked well in advance.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and consider how similar situations can be handled more transparently and professionally in the future.

We were not informed of refurbishing before our trip which put the helpful staff under pressure. Having no lounge and bar to relax in to socialise with the football team to talk about their games.
