It was great except for the horrible strong smell of sour milk in the hallway carpet outside room 730.

Well located amongst food and restaurants but the room was quite average. Its good enough for the price. Customer service was excellent.

The Mantra is well located on Southbank, close to everything including QPAC and restaurants. It was disappointing to only have one lift available and as there are numerous floors for residents, this lead to large delays in getting to our room. In addition on the Saturday night there was a loud band/music playing and you could hear it through the room, no soundproofing, and it didn't finish until well after midnight. Left incredibly early the next morning after getting no sleep.

The Mantra South Bank Brisbane is in a fantastic location. The pool was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, our room had a damp / mould / water leak issue which made our stay really un-pleasant when in the room. The damp / mouldy smell was prominent from the hallway, before even entering the room. On our final morning, we were looking for a spoon and noticed that the cutlery draw in the kitchenette was full of water. The room was comfortable, but the damp smell was realty off putting. Unfortunately, my son and I both ended up with a chest cold a few days later on the next part of our holiday. It was a real shame as we loved the hotels' location. After getting sick, i wished we had of pushed for another room.
