Bathroom shower needs upgrade to prevent slipping in the tub plus slipping in water that spills out of the shower. Lucky I did not slip in the tub and on the very wet floor. Room 502 was facing Grey Street, which was noisy at times during the night. Loud partiers in the hot tub kept me awake until 2 am.

Apart from a very minor inconvenience with an ammonia-like smell in the room and a large, questionable stain on the floor near the bed, along with the absence of room service during the two nights of my stay, I had a generally pleasant experience. The room was otherwise clean, and the staff were kind, courteous, and professional throughout my visit.

I have stayed at Mantra South Brisbane a number of times and always enjoyed it. I will never return. My room was layered with thick dust I asked twice for the room to be cleaned and dust removed it still was dusty triggering my asthma. The corridor from the lift to my room was full of leaves for 2 days and the carpet was badly stained - it looked like someone vomited on the carpet. Due to my frequent stays I was expecting a half decent room however was given a room facing a brick wall. Reception was unresponsive to my concerns
