My husband is an Accor member and had booked his free stay evening for us to attend the ballet. He was not with us at check-in (he was working 3 hours away), but did advise "Jennifer" that he would be joining us later that evening. Proceeded to receive a dressing down by Jennnifer in reception in front of other guests about the privileges of being an Accor Plus member and its advantages and how the member should be present to make the stay special. "Jennifer" then proceeded to call my husband to verify that we were allowed to stay and that he would in fact be coming to join us and he would need to attend reception as soon as possible to verify his membership. Not to mention, called the hotel and spoke with "Jennifer" prior about check-in parking - seems she was put out to explain where hotel parking was located. Quite frankly, my experience with her customer service made me feel like a county bumpkin idiot.

It was never my intention to make you feel uncomfortable or unappreciated. I understand how important it is for all guests to feel welcomed and respected, and I deeply regret that your experience did not reflect that. Regarding the situation with the Accor Plus membership, I was simply following the hotel's policy. I was unaware that your husband could not join us for check-in, especially since he is the member. I will certainly reflect on your comments to ensure I provide a more considerate experience for our guests in the future. Once again, I apologize for any frustration caused, and I appreciate your understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a much more positive experience in the future. No available umbrellas during rain period and needed to ask for fresh towels daily. Would have loved some notice about the unavailability of the dining room prior to check in. Loved that reception was 24/7 and Hotel staff were most helpful

I’m very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay, from the cleanliness under the beds to the shower water spilling onto the bathroom floor. We understand how inconvenient this must have been and why you required fresh towels daily. We also apologize for the noise disturbances and any discomfort caused, as well as the absence of a sink plug. Your comments regarding the flat white coffee have been reviewd. The rodent-like noise you described is concerning, and we will promptly investigate this matter with our maintenance team. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us identify areas for improvement. Great location. Unfortunately we had the two bedroom apartment opposite the pool party taking place across the road, and a balcony door that didn’t close properly making the room too loud and too hot to sleep in. We ended up moving the mattress out into the living area with our son to get some sleep. We moved it back to make it easier for the cleaning staff. Front desk was notified to try to have the maintenance issue rectified for future guests.
