Great stay for a family getaway. Location was convenient to get around to all city attractions and transport. Although there was trackwork in the CBD (otherwise one direct train ride from the Airport), it wasn't hard to navigate or get to. Plenty of restaurants and takeaway around. Liked the fact that there was always staff at the front desk late at night. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The foyer was appropriately decked out in decorations and they even had a little mezzanine area for kids activities during Christmas. Room was fantastic with city views. Only fault was my kid is super sensitive to dust and couldn't sit/play on the upholstery couch carpet.

Booked a twin studio room for 4 adults and was upgraded to interconnecting one bedroom suite and king room which was greatly appreciated. Only downside of the stay was that the hotel decided to close restaurant for lunch and dinner during the school holidays, which makes absolutely no sense. We are Accor plus members and were intending to dine onsite before rushing off to a matinee at QPAC so this was inconvenient.

The location of Mantra Southbank is very convenient and close to plenty of attractions, which made getting around easy. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a positive start to the stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t meet expectations. Housekeeping was extremely slow and on several occasions did not show up at all. The hotel itself feels quite dated, and the cleanliness was disappointing — the pillows and bed sheets were unpleasant, with a noticeable bad smell. Overall, while the location and front desk staff were good, the condition of the rooms and housekeeping service really let the hotel down.
