Room was very clean, but felt very damp and dank, even after running the aircon full blast for 3 days. Also had a bit of a smell like urine. Others who stayed here didn't have similar complaints, so perhaps just my bad luck. Knew the hotel was full so just lived with it.

I was attending a conference that got cancelled up in Brisbane at the Southbank location whilst the cyclone was experienced in Queensland. I found the room to be very standard and it was only cleaned every second day. The communication by the staff was below standard in my opinion as I wasn’t kept up-to-date with what was going on in regards to any possible emergency procedures. Should they have arisen?
