Location was perfect! The rooms are a great size, but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very dated and not very clean. Mould, hair and broken tiles in shower. The Parking costs extra at a nearby car parking building, which is a tight squeeze and extremely hard to navigate. Overall a nice place, reception smells amazing and the staff at front desk were lovely.

The lack of full restaurant facilities was very disappointing. The attached restaurant (Sage and Salt) was not always open as indicated and reception staff were at a loss to suggest an alternative. When did eat there we found the meals very good at dinner but the buffet breakfast was very ordinary. Lack of choice for those needing a gluten free meal was disappointing.

Comfortable but it is shabby and old. The bathroom tiles had cracks. But what concerned me was the crack in the sink and how unhygienic this was. There is dirt in the corners of the bathroom and dust on the toilet roll holder which was yuk. The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time and needed replacing.
