The staff at this hotel went above and beyond in all areas, and truly made this stay what it was. Tapan was a particularly welcoming face at breakfast every morning, and was especially facilitating of our special requests on our last morning. The hotel was lacking in a couple of technical amenities: we were unable to cast our devices to the TV, and the locks lack the ability to connect to the Accor Key app. There were also little things like the bathroom door not properly latching which reduced the quality of the experience slightly. The location was great, and we found that we were able to access most things on foot, although the safety of Wellington at night had us taking a couple of Ubers. Overall a great stay, and hopefully this hotel will be brought into the technical present soon.

Very freindly staff (very helpful), lovely rooms. Breakfast was fantasitc (my kids said breakfast was a highlight!)

Check in was slow as there was only one person on reception and they were held up with a long query on a phone call. Once checked in room was great. Decided to eat in however restaurant was busy so went to bar and ordered a bottle of wine to have a drink while we waited and have with our meal. We were advised we would have to wait about 45 minutes. Also ordered some olives as a small snack while we waited. Olives didn't turn up and when we went to dinner I enquired as to where the olives were. It would appear they had been forgotten and arrived shortly after we sat down. Also no one offered to pour the wine from ordering it to when we finished it at the dinner table and I also opened the bottle myself. Ordered 55 day aged beef which was definitely not 55 day aged. My wife's meal was great. Check out was very easy and straight forward.
