Second time staying at the property. The only thing bad about this stay was that I was only there for one night only. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and extremely accommodating to all requests. The Assistant Manager John was great and very helpful. The hotel amenities are great too and if you don't mind the walk up to the hotel and then down to the CBD, this is the ideal location.

A very stylish Hotel, at very reasonable price, super friendly concierge staff, check in was very pleasant, rooms were as per website pics, really impressed how quiet our room was, and all a short 15 min walk from Cuba Street, Courtney place, St James Theater, We will be back

Have never stayed at a Movenpick before, but could now be my new favourite! Received an upgrade which was very nice and much welcomed and appreciated. Did arrive early and was able to leave our luggage and head off exploring. Lovely to find on our return that our luggage had been taken to our room. Great view over Wellington City. Very comfortable massive sized bed. Good shower (a little odd with the step up though). Had a lift with direct access to the outside and down the hill a bit very close to our room, which was really handy. Pool and sauna was nice. Bit of a hike up the hill to return from exploring the city on foot (good exercise!) but location was still good with easy access into the CBD. Breakfast was sensational, and the best hotel breakfast ever, just perfect. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Chocolate Hour in the afternoon was a quirky but very nice experience. Would definitely stay here again.
