I was disappointed to come to breakfast and for the man behind the counter to have to make a big deal about going to the front desk and asking if I’d paid for my breakfast when I had told him that I paid the night before. Especially since I was by myself and it didn’t seem very discrete. Also he didn’t inform me there was a coffee machine at the buffet and so I ordered a coffee which I paid for and it was cold.

This is our go to hotel in Wellington and we have stayed here many times. Rooms are comfortable. Love the big windows facing the harbour. Convenient location. Only comment would be the extremely limited menu in the Caucus Restaurant, particularly on Sundays.

Seamless check-in and check-out (under 5 minutes!) and a prime CBD location with stunning city views made for a great stay at Novotel. The kids loved the play area on the ground floor and their comfortable beds. The only hiccups were small lifts and an empty body wash dispenser that wasn't checked prior to our arrival. We skipped the dining options, so no comment on the food.

Great location, easy access from the motorway. Parking is expensive city prices. Friendly staff, very helpful. Room with a city view was lovely, spacious and warm, however, housekeeping needed to be called in to service our room. Breakfast was nice despite cooked meals (eggs and sausages) being cold. Overall a lovely convenient for everything hotel in the city.

nice rooms looking over city, comfy bed but small if sharing as only double. TV had issues to keep finding signal for channels, shower was over a bath, Luke warm temp in the mornings when others showering. Keep an eye on your room tab as we had an $80 restaurant charge that was not ours. Breakfast in the restaurant had a lovely selection.

We arrived around 5 pm on a Saturday initially seemed good. got upto the room and it was very small especially for one they advertise for families. the room was cold and LLOUD could hear every noise from hallway including the elevators could hear road noise too. I rang the reception and asked if we could be moved room, they said they'd get right back to me but never called back. tired to get a carpark also but nothing available
