forgot to serve my starter, Rumpsteak was over cooked and blend (menu mentioned chimichurri but was nowhere to be found) potatoes were overcooked and the salad was terribly basic

Nice and clean hotel just next to the Bochum central station and city center. Unfortunately, wifi is not for the business people that have to have fast and stable connection.

I stayed for three nights. The room was good, but access to the shower was not ideal and potentially hazardous. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The breakfast offer, especially the coffee, was a bit disappointing. I liked the possibility of streaming a video directly on the wall-mounted screen.

Very rude check-in - never tried anything similar. You would expect people in the service industry to be welcoming and helpful. That was not the case. Check-out was perfect as could be expected. The hotel itself is fine - didn't book twin beds though. But nice and clean. Location fine. Breakfast was not impressive, but as with most continental breakfasts. We were just passing through and will probably not pass through again.
