It’s not admissible nor reasonable to pay for a one night sleep, trying to rest and recover, and be woken up at 8h by some construction work being done in my very floor. Have more respect and consideration for your paying customers, as some of them actually need to rest. Maybe start the works at 10h. Much more sensible, if you ask me.

Spacious, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent. Public transport is not exactly close by, which is a nuisance in bad weather.
