Very bad experience. the room was behind the lift, I couldn't sleep. I booked queen bed, and got 2 single beds.

I spent one of the two nights booked. the room was in a location that the noise of the lift continuously waked me up. the receptionist assigned that room despite asking for a quiet one. in my booking, I requested the queen bed, and I got two single beds.

Came for the weekend, very easy and smooth check in, nice sunset views, cool architecture. Twas a rainy weekend though but once it the hotel it was just so cozy and refreshing. Breakfast was quiet nice with enough room for the guests and great options. Upon checkout received lots of goodies from the reception and as there were less people at the reception it was really more personalized. Thanks for the short and sweet stay. A great choice if you’re looking for comfort, a great location and a warm yet professional staff.

We travel around Europe with family 2+2. This was our third stay. The room is spacious and beds comfortable. Clean bathroom. Breakfast very tasty. The only minor issue was with the water temperature in the shower was fluctuating from cold to hot, impossible to set a temperature for my son comfort.

Nice hotel. Location is not amazing, slightly outside the centre, but it is a good place. Easy parking, the staff are nice and the rooms are all great. Would have not hesitations in returning. People moan about Essen but there are some nice residential areas just outside with lots of bars and restaurants
