Good and friendly reception, nice room. Very slow elevator but major issue and not okay : not any EV loading option! That is impossible for a business of conference hotel. 6 Units of which 2 quick charger of >= 150 would be compliant. There is sufficient space. Several providers in DE would be interested to deliver and install EV stations that can and will accept European wide used charge cards/buttons

Overnight stay to attend football in Dortmund, this was the best (or rather 'least worst') option we could find with a lack of accommodation in the area generally, and terrible pricing. Easy bus to/from Hagen Hbf. The Mercure Hagen is ok, just about comparable to a Premier Inn, definitely one of those hotels benefitting from skilful photography. Nice staff, clean and tidy, reasonable if typically pricy hotel breakfast.

We booked two rooms in this 4star hotel for one week, as a family travelling from Ireland, for the Euros2024. All seemed well, until we entered our room & realised there was no airconditioning. This is something that should be highlighted with the facilities, so guests can make an informed choice. It didnt help that we arrived last week of June, when temperatures were above 30 degrees celsius. I did ask at the desk about this, and was told: This is Germany. At no point were we offered a portable fan/cooler. This spoilt our entire stay, as we dreaded returning to the rooms, which were over-heated, despite leaving the window open all day. There were no safes in the room, no drawers, no mini-bar. But plenty of cobwebs. The bed had not been cleaned underneath, with somebodys socks still there. The buffet breakfast was not too bad. With limited options for vegetarians. I would have liked the scrambled eggs, but they were in the same steamer as the bacon.

I stayed in a superior room for 9 nights. The room was comfortable but warm. I have only ticked satisfied because of the policy of not servicing the rooms unless requested whilst I am ok with not making up the room I expect superior rooms to have coffee etc replenished. As their is no air conditioning I drank the complementary bottled water at night but am not happy that the water is only supplied at check in. Perhaps I should check out and check in every day. My room 212 was just above the restaurant/bar with its outside tables, this meant that on some nights I was disturbed by other guests sitting outside

Although we regret that you did not have a better experience with us, your review will help us to further improve the quality of service. For the sake of the environment, we have introduced the concept into our hotel of only cleaning the rooms when the guests really need it. The environmental cards are also available in the rooms. When the room is cleaned, you always get new coffee sachets, otherwise you can get them at reception if you need them. But the water bottle is only available free of charge once on the day of arrival. In the entrance area you will find a refrigerator where you can purchase water for a fee. If availability allows, we are willing to exchange the rooms for a quieter one. At the moment there is always a lot going on in our house due to the European Championships, which unfortunately we have no influence on. We are happy to work to ensure that our guests don't miss anything. We look forward to welcoming you back as a guest in our house soon so that we can convince you of our improved service. Matrasses are too soft. Parking fee should be included in regular price, or better parking should be free of charge.
