Came to this hotel after an awesome stay back in 2023. However, this time was so short of our experience (and as diamond members). Check in was painful and not to the high standard, we were left having to question check in and amenities for us and the friends who stayed. Room service (and turn down) only happened when we requested it multiple times. Bath towels had to be requested and we didn’t get any new ones until the following day. Wine glasses were left used and not replaced and we had to keep asking service team to sort things out almost daily. AC, towels, water etc. we had raved to our friends about this place and then the experience just felt short of the hotel experience in many ways. Our cards didn’t work on day two and we had to sort this out this was after we had to continuously ask if our room was ready on day 1 even though we had advised an early arrival time and after 3pm standard check in time we were still waiting. We had to push for lounge access after a flight from NZ and even then we shouldn’t have had to keep asking. We tried called room service but the phone didn’t work, I worked out how to reset it and when we got through they couldn’t hear us anyway. We asked for bottled water and they said we would be charged $8. This standard with our rooms and we had to ask over two days to get bottled water which eventually arrived. One day our room wasn’t made up until 5pm so we just had to sit there and wait until they left so we could get ready to go out. They then replaced body wash with another shampoo. We travel a lot and only stay at Accor and mostly Sofitel hotels. I wouldn’t go as far as saying as we wouldn’t come back, but we would definitely consider other hotels when we come back later in the year. Hope this feedback helps with future training.

Arkalive Business - TripAdvisor review

Visited for a conference at ICC Sydney. The hotels location is the best. Rooms modern. Great area with range of casual and fine dining nearby. Also close to IMAX, Madame Tussaud’s, SEA Life etc. The food options with room service were good and delivered quickly. Definitely recommend for conference attendees!

We had an amazing time. My membership was recognized on check in, and he even fixed mistakes. I had completed online check in / left notes saying it was our anniversary and he said he didn’t see it on file. He did a great job. I’M. sorry I cannot remember his name… I believe it was Azkhan? So sorry if misspelled. We also spent a lot of time at the pool. Ronnie is amazing and is so attentive and good with guests. Everyone working the lounge was great. Shout out to Tiffany who was extra kind to us & talked us through our first ever experience in the lounge. Thank you everyone :) we can’t wait to be back in September.

Enjoyed staying here. The Club was very good. Lead by the exceptional Elmo! Shout out to Philip, Grace Alana and Danica. Fabulous staff. The gentleman in charge of breakfast could do to spend some time with Elmo to learn about grace and attention to detail.
