All went well, the only complaint was we were not told that we were to enjoy corporate prices at breakfast. This was not the attendants fault, she was excellent, I suspect it did not show on her feed in.

I was happy with the stay but disappointed I had to eat my dinner in the lobby bar duw to a private function. Menu was very limited and took 30min to receive. I wish I had of known that the restaurant was unavailable when i checked in as I would have made alternate dinner arrangements.

I have been an Accor member for over 25 years achieving Platinum Status over the last several years. This year my wife and I stayed with you on the 6th -8th September to celebrate my 77th birthday ( 6/9/1949 ) and our 53rd Wedding Anniversary ( 7/9/1973 - 7/9/2026 )
We had a fabulous time and scored 10 out of 10 in our review.
My wife wanted to return so I booked the 18th - 20th October.
Several small things occurred which led my lowest overall rating I have ever given.
I just want to give you some private feedback as I regard Accor as " Best Practice " and want it to remain so.
What happened
* arrived 3pm on 18/9 Club Millesime - advised no upgrade as fully booked but could be given a higher floor ( level 26 to room 2806 ) Room appeared cramped due to layout and view substantially obscured by a new building being constructed next door. Back to Club Millesime at 5.15pm for Apero Chic. Advised could not be relocated due to hotel having no available upgrades. Requested a downgrade but was advised that this was not possible due to rooms not being available. I showed your staff my app showing Red Hot Rooms in various categories that were still available for 18-20 October. They further politely advised they could not relocate us but " to avoid disappointment in the future we should book the upgraded room that we required "
5.30pm Apero Chic. Absolutely packed - cafeteria style standing room only. Six people around our age saw our distress and offered to squeeze us into their small setting. They told us they were Platinum members ( actually 1 was a Diamond member ). During conversation they advised us they were ALL upgraded but they arrived early around midday and not the requested 3pm check-in time. At 8pm my wife and I went down to the front check-in on the ground floor.
We told our story and they immediately jumped into action. We were shown Room 2110,
It was a Harbour View Room with an open plan feel that we usually get when we have stayed with you over the past many years. Anne and I were delighted and immediately transferred to this room. At around 9pm, we came back down to the ground floor to thank your staff and ran into the Diamond member and his wife having a drink at the bar as the Champagne Bar was closed.
They were happy to hear that we were ok and during the conversation they told us that their room was also good, but they got a Welcome package with wine but it was wrongly addressed to a Mr Terry G.. We had a great laugh as that was our welcome package and I certainly was not going to ask a Diamond Accor member for its return. On our last day I requested our Welcome package at Club Millesime ( 2 requests AM after breakfast and 4pm ) We returned to our room at 5pm to find a bottle of red wine and 2 small bottles of sparkling water - nothing else.
When we returned for Apero Chic I requested the small box of chocolates we always get, but we were told the new policy for Platinum members was just a bottle of wine and water.
It was a comedy of continuing small errors that led to 4 out of 10.
Please don't punish staff as I believe they were operating as politely as they could.
Some just didn't operate to the standard of " delighting the customer " when a problem happened. Also, have your best staff available at Club Millesime - don't make it a new training ground for new staff.

We stay in a lot of Sofitel Hotels Internationally and we have never been denied access to the club room due to occupancy, this was handled very poorly by the staff. They sent us to the Champaign lounge on level 3 which was closed, then they sent us to the cafe with two drinks vouchers. I went back level 35 and complained about the treatment we received, so then they offered a $100.00 credit to spend for room service! The communication between the different departments in your hotel is appalling, no one knew what to do, there were people sitting in the waiting area eating and drinking as well, it was chaotic. I would presume that in the club lounge you would know how many Diamond members you have staying? & then set aside reserved tables for them, in case they decide to utilise their benefits of being Diamond Guests.
They were clearly not prepared and very disorganised. A disappointing stay.
