It was good. One of the best ibis I have stayed at. Staff needs to be more informational though, at check in guests should be explained more about facilities timing etc.

We have stayed at other Ibis hotels in Europe and found them to be similar. Okay hotels with compact rooms. This one is the same. Clean, although stained carpet. Has a restaurant which we didn’t use but should have as the neighborhood isn’t one to walk about in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking, if needed is for a fee 14 GBP per day and there seemed to be limited number of spaces but few cars as most arrived by taxi.

Room 310 air conditioning did not work. It errored out frequently. When we called, the management was quick to respond. They reviewed our attempts to rectify the situation and tried the exact same methods that we had already tried. The manager advised us to wait 15 minutes and try again. The system failed after 2 minutes. It took two tries before they changed our room. We packed up all of our things and had to go to the lobby to be reassigned another room. This airconditioning worked in room 03. We settled in; and chose to watch tv but the remote was missing. All in all not an unbearable situation, but these maintenance issues should have been handled prior to renting out a room.

Comfortable and spacious room with all we needed. Friendly reception staff. Close to bus stops, local pub (Three Magpies) and conveniece store at the adjacent garage.
