Overly priced for an old hotel

The price that I paid I could have stay in a lot more better location price with better service, better amenities and newer room. The hotel looks like so dated with walls and furniture chipping off , no swimming pool, no gym, no toiletries. The service was extremely bad, I’m a gold member of course nothing was offered to me when I arrived. Waiting to check in was 30 mins when there was only 1 ahead of me. The counter staff was laughing away throughout making themselves when I asked about gold membership benefits and then said throw me an envelope with room keys. The only good service staff wearing white shirt whom I didn’t get the name was helpful. Do not stay here

location good but one of the staff in restaurant in breakfast was not so friendly.

Well located - Very noisy hotel

The hotel is well located in front of the Prado Museum. But once in the hotel, first they seem to not give a great importance to the fact that you are a Gold member with Accor. Then you realize that hotel is very noisy, you can hear pretty much everything that is happening in the surrounding rooms. Door locks are pretty stiff so everyone has to slam doors. Not very nice when trying to sleep. Internet was failing every 3 to 5 minutes in the evening, which was really painful to work with. During breakfast, I understand how complicated it is to keep the buffet stocked and the area clean, but the breakfast place is actually quite nice and calm if the staff would dare to close the kitchen door.
