Rooms are small, room air con not effective and room safe locker was dysfunctional..

Everything was great. Service was excellent, the employees were helpful. The only issue was the internet: The speed is fine for browsing the web and even videos, but it wasn’t fast enough to use for professional use with encrypted data (not even using graphics). I have been to other Accor hotels where they have a faster internet service for an extra fee; something like this would have been appreciated.

First, I commend the staff - they were so professional, so helpful - absolutely terrific group. However, I realize I am responsible for checking amenities before booking but I cannot believe, since there was breakfast thus a kitchen, that there was no restaurant or bar - There is space in the lobby for at least a small bar, and you have a kitchen so why not have more serving hours? Really ruined my stay - I am a widow, travel alone. After being out all day, the ease and safety of staying on the premises is important to me as an occasional option for evening. The room was huge, but TV service antiquated (everywhere there is streaming, etc), wifi incredibly slow - impossible to work, bathroom had a constant odor from drains, sink was nearly stopped up - slow drain, minibar barely chilled, water in BOXES? So, I would not stay here again, though I am an Accor loyalist. My departure ONE DAY EARLY was because I did not like the hotel. The manager was terrific about everything - The people were fantastic, the building, not so. Thank you. I remain loyal Accor - Deborah L. W., Esq.

At the same time, I am very sorry to read about your overall dissatisfaction with your stay. Regarding your comments about the bar, please allow me to clarify that we do not have a bar as such. However, in our breakfast area we offer a space available 24/7 where guests can enjoy drinks such as juice, soft drinks, wine, or beer at any time. As for the restaurant, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do not have a restaurant on-site, but we do offer room service daily from 13:00 to 00:00. Concerning the water packaging, we would like to inform you that this format is used in line with Accor’s environmental commitment to reduce single-use plastics. I also regret the inconveniences you experienced in your room, including the odor, drainage, Wi-Fi, and minibar. Please be assured that your comments have been noted and will be reviewed with the relevant departments to take the necessary corrective actions. Finally, I would like to thank you once again for highlighting the professionalism of our team, and I am truly sorry that the rest of your experience did not meet your expectations. I am a platinum member of Accor Hotels and paid €606 for 2 nights at Madrid Centro. Having paid that price, I was expecting 4* quality but the hotel is not worth it. I had booked in advance so checked the prices on the day of my stay on your website and found that I could have saved over €200 if I’d just walked in off the street as a stranger not a platinum Member. Even the local Hilton Hotel was cheaper. Really. I am very disappointed by this but not just the cost. I prefer a better quality hotel and that’s why I paid over. €600 for 2 nights. The breakfast was poor so I didn’t eat there. I went out for breakfast. Your Madrid Hotel Centro is probably worth €200 a night for the privilege room but I paid over €300 a night. I should have not shown loyalty to you perhaps and just booked at The Hilton. Hopefully you’ll have loyalty and courtesy to me and explain why it was cheaper for a stranger to walk in off the street and a lot more expensive for a platinum member. It’s not the cost, it’s the quantity. I want better quantity and paying €606 for 2 nights in a privileged room should provide that. I am currently staying in your Mercure hotel in Nice which has just been refurbished. I respect loyalty and trust and I hope you do too. That being said, as a Platinum member, had we been informed of the situation in advance, we would have been more than happy to review your case. In recognition of your loyalty, we could have potentially studied the possibility of cancelling the reservation despite its non-refundable conditions and assisting you in making a new booking with the updated rates. Additionally, your membership includes guaranteed room availability up to two days prior to arrival, which could have facilitated this process. We truly regret the situation you have described and hope this explanation helps clarify how hotel pricing operates.
