It was a pleasure to return to Mercure Bandung City Centre for my third stay, and once again, the experience was wonderful. The front desk team was warm and accommodating, especially Naila and Arif, who made me feel genuinely welcomed. I also ordered dinner through In-Room Dining, and it exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, served hot, and delivered promptly, making for a very enjoyable meal. One area that could be improved is the handling of room preferences. I had requested a specific bed setup before my arrival, but the team had to reconfirm my preference three separate times. While I understand that prior requests may occasionally be overlooked, I had expected it to be noted after the first confirmation. Additionally, on the second and third days of my stay, the bed was made in the standard setup rather than my requested preference. Although I informed the team again, I wasn’t entirely confident that my preference had been recorded for future housekeeping. Additionally, I was notified about my room upgrade is not available, I understand but it would be lovely to be offered alternatives such as highest room possible, corner room, quite room, etc. That said, these were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise an excellent stay. Overall, I had another great experience, and I will definitely be back again soon.
