Our journey from Kings’ Cross, usually very straightforward, was fraught with delays and closures and by the time we got there we were hot and frazzled. We were immediately put at ease - the gentleman at reception was exceptionally kind, and calming in manner. He even kindly gave us a room on a lower floor than the one we had been allocated due to my vertigo, which was much appreciated; gave us advice on public transport to Wembley and even helped me when I couldn’t work out how to turn the light on! He is a real credit to the team. The hotel itself is very charmingly decorated in a cinema theme and my daughter enjoyed working out where all the different quotes on the carpets were from! Being Northerners, our only gripe was that they were selling small packets of crisps for just under £4 , we were shocked and opted for the nearby corner shop for our snacks instead! But the area is lovely and well connected, you have a beautiful array of restaurants on your doorsteps. The hotel was spotless too and had everything we needed. It’s very easy to get to and from Wembley on the bus too. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
