We were checked in late on a Sunday night by Stefano who provided lots of useful info at the time and later in our 1 week stay. Others who were very helpful, booking taxis and advising us about public transport options were Aurelia and another lady who was working during the day with a younger female colleague. Unfortunately I can't recall her name. The 1 bedroom accommodation we booked was spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Nice kitchen, big fridge. Also we had a big balcony which we used most evenings. There is a railway station about 100 metres from the hotel which connects easily with the Metro. A taxi to the Colosseum, which was the furthest of the main attractions from the hotel was only 25 euros. Public transport was only about 5 euros for a return trip. St Peter's, the closest of the attractions was about a 40 minute walk, but we never did it as it was really hot during our stay.

we spent 2 nights here prior to flying out. Very conveniently located next to Balduina station which then accessed the Metro. nearby supermarkets [500m] for all food needs and good facilities in the partment for cooking

Very pleasant stay with large 1 bed apartment and nice to have a swimming pool booking times apply towel changes could be better as was there for 7 nights no change was informed you need to have 8 nights or more to have towel changes apartment not cleaned daily Not a problem as we kept it tidy You also have to empty your bins not a problem but bin area at front of hotel was full frequently as were small bins for size of Hotel overall had a pleasant stay would have been better if there was a toaster in the apartment and could have a plug for kitchen sink to allow washing dishes in sink Small matter my bedroom was above outside seating area where people were smoking and could smell smoke when going to bed also noted on last day outside seating area was a bit grubby could do with a clean but as I said before really enjoyed my stay

Hotel is located near the Balduina train station so very easy to get to from airport and easy to continue to city centre. There is also a multiuse trail behind hotel for morning walks. All touch surfaces in room were clean but there were cobwebs near ceiling and dust in room corners. Linens were clean and bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows. Hotel grounds are irrigated, which is nice since most vegetation in Rome in September is dead. Pool was clean and cool enough to be refreshing. Hotel is stingy with extra towels (5€) and extra Nespresso pods (you four whether you’re staying 1 or 6 days).

As the title suggests, this was a nice hotel but we did not receive the temporary hold back and have heard nothing from the hotel about it. The air conditioning was wonderful, but there was an extra charge to have your room cleaned or towels/bedding washed if you were only staying for a week. This on top of not getting our money back means I will not be staying with this company again.

The hotel is located slightly away from the city centre, which was actually an advantage for me. There is a train station right next to the hotel, providing excellent connections. You can find good coffee and pizza nearby, as well as supermarkets. The area is quiet and peaceful in the evening. The hotel is not new and has clearly been around for a while, but everything is clean, well maintained and works properly. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is also a large balcony with a table and chairs - perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The swimming pool is very small, more suitable for relaxing and cooling off after a day of sightseeing. You need to book a specific time in advance, as there are only 25 places available. There is also a lifeguard. A special mention to the lovely lady at reception, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to explore Rome and then escape the crowds and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

I do not write reviews, but the way the hotel stuff behaved at the Adagio Vatican, Rome hotel made me write this. The hotel is nice and has the pool, a nice addition but the stuff behavior is terrible, I have traveled extensively at the Accor Hotels, as a previous gold customer, but such customer treatment I have not encountered so far and I mean: everything you ask the stuff for, looks like they are doing you a favor, you have to wait for anything, no matter how simple. and the answer comes patronizing you. The cherry on the pie is that the pre-authorization/guarantee of 148 Euro was not reversed at check out, as customary,. I also wrote an email asking if they reversed the money, no answer till now. Terrible service!

I had an enjoyable stay at the Aparthotel. The apartment's facilities were good and I had quite a spacious apartment with a balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus. Breakfast was busy but there was a good selection of food, fruit, cold meats, pastries, cereals and great coffee. The staff were very friendly, porfessional and polite throughout my stay - great reception and breakfast teams. It was a bit of a walk downtown but I enjoyed it and there were some restaurants nearby - one lovely restaurant right next to the hotel and a good Tigre supermarket at the bottom of the hill, about 15 mins walk - there were others closer - but the rotisserie chicken at Tigre was great! I would definitely go back there!

The aparthotel was well suited for our family of 4. The kitchen was helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Nice to have a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to a train station which can get you into the city but we used taxis for convenience. Given the heatwave in Rome, we were thankful the rooms had air conditioning.

Extremely disappointed right from the moment I arrived. I had to wait a long time at reception, and the receptionist's attitude wasn't exactly good. There was a rather unpleasant smell in the room and the hotel hallway. We were told that if we left a mess, the €50 security deposit wouldn't be returned. The bed linen and towels weren't going to be changed either—I’ve never encountered a hotel like this. I practically had to vacuum the room before leaving just to be sure I’d get my money back. I still didn't get the money back. I even had to take out the trash. I paid a lot of money for zero service. Extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this hotel.

Great apartment , well equipped , air con is very quiet and efficient . Bus 990 is all you need and if you want to run or cycle there s a great cycle route above the train which runs all the way to the Vatican.
