Location of hotel is great. In a peaceful neighbourhood, only 1 minute away from a useful train station. 20-30 mins by train or bus to most tourist destinations. However my room faced a car park which meant that car alarms would sometimes go off - once at 2am for over an hour. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Once of the best welcomes I have had to a hotel. My room was very old fashioned and tired. Everything was clean but it was all worn out. The bathroom showed signs of mold and the plumbing was a bit smelly sometimes. The air conditioning did not really work, which was fine as I was there in November but I could imagine it would be very hot and stuffy in the summer. The insulation between rooms is very poor so you could hear everything from your neighbourhoods above and to the side. Overall not up to the standard of other Adagio hotels I’ve stayed at, which are usually a lot more modern and nicer.

We could fix our own meals in our premium studio. We had our own patio and furniture. The staff was very friendly.

Where do I even start? We’ve stayed in dozens of hotels across Europe — even in other ACCOR ones — but this was next-level disappointing. 1️⃣ “Quadruple room”? Sure, if you count the sofa we had to unfold and make ourselves. Yes, at €270 a night, we got to do the housekeeping too! 2️⃣ Despite being fully prepaid, the hotel demanded a €50 “guarantee” on arrival. No mention of it anywhere before. Surprise! Apparently, transparency isn’t part of the 4-star package. 3️⃣ Housekeeping? What housekeeping? In three nights, towels never changed, sheets untouched, and cleaning consisted of a quick sweep and a prayer. Honestly, calling this place a 4-star hotel is pure comedy. If you enjoy paying premium prices to make your own bed and reuse the same towel for days, this is the place for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor — stay literally anywhere else. #NeverAgain #OverpricedAndUndercleaned #FakeFourStars
