Ciao, We are honestly as shocked as you are to read about this. We absolutely do not tolerate this kind of behavior in our shared dorms. If you had reported this to our team immediately, we would have taken action right away. Reading about it only now leaves us unable to intervene. We understand this was a terrible experience. However, it is sad to see a low score that hurts our staff—who you said were great—rather than reflecting the bad behavior of another guest. We are truly sorry you had to go through this. Not a good 4-star hotel but a decent 2-star hostel. It’s for you, if you’re looking a value option with good vibe and great location (to walk or get a bus or train). It’s not for you if you want very very basic stuff like comphy bed and pillows, a TV, pleasent lighting setup or nice decoration – yup, it’s unbelievable that our room didn’t had any of that. Also, it’s better to rest than to party (the bar is bad and closes too early and on the rooftop there’s nothing to see).

The hostel is above average but I feel is unreasonably expensive. The main problem is how noisy the beds are - I can’t emphasise enough, the plywood frames creek loudly every time anybody shifts their weight in bed. Sitting up, rolling over - creaking loud enough to wake the room up (I weigh less than 60kg). Otherwise, the staff are nice, the dorm beds are private, the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and modern. In hindsight I realise that there are hotel rooms that are cheaper and in better locations. Cannot comment on their quality, but due to this combination of factors I’ll probably be looking elsewhere for accomodation.
