from the moment i arrived i was greeted with warmly. sadly i didnt have my welcome drink as the roof bar restaurant was full.

Staff weren’t eager to great us on arrival. Looked at us as if we were intruding. Internet worked very poorly and we had to call reception and use staff internet. Room was decent but suite view was underwhelming. More importantly, bathroom door wouldnt close because it severely rubbed against the floor. Handheld shower faucet wouldn't stop leaking after use so we had to set it on the ground. Positives: roof view was amazing, bed was very comfortable, location is great. I would like to see better customer service, it sets the tone. Additionally, having such an obviously broken (for a long time) bathroom door projected disrepair. The leaky faucet could have just happened, but no excuse for the door. If the customer service and door items were fixed then the hotel would appear far more premium. Customer service alone dropped our rating down by 3-4 points. Bad view and door dropped it another 2 points.

2 night stay. Comfortable modern room. Good helpful staff. Breakfast nice. Facilities a little sparse for a Sofitel. Relaxation needs to be in small reception lounge or the roof terrace/bar (indoor and out). Was disappointed to be moved from the bar (not restaurant) because of a prior bookings). At 5.30pm. Residents didn’t get any priority. Others have complained about this.
