This hotel has nice, clean, comfortable rooms. The rest of the stay was disappointing. - The hotel seemed understaffed. On the busiest travel weekend in France, there was just one person checking people in, and there was a queue of several people when we arrived. In fact, another guest had called to get the attention of the receptionist. - A staff member sprayed air freshener into the lift and onto us, apologized and left. - We immediately went to the restaurant for an early dinner only to find out the restaurant was fully booked for the next hour and a half. There was no accommodation for hotel guests to book a table on arrival. - We had booked ”standard rooms” but were put into rooms on the top floor which had limited headroom. In other words, not standard rooms. - The breakfast truly disappointing, the coffee was not drinkable, and the selection of food was very limited, and we couldn’t find a toaster. The orange juice was fine. - Parking is limited and we had significant difficulty leaving in the morning due to others parking in non-parking spaces. - Finally, recognizing that Ibis Styles longs to be trendy, we were able to overlook the motivational slogans on the walls and doors, until we used the toilet. On the inside of the door, at eye level when sitting was an incredibly silly double entendre. Not inspiring nor humorous. Other than that, the rooms were clean and comfortable (aside from the limited headroom).

Regarding the understaffing during a busy travel weekend, we regret the inconvenience caused by the wait at check-in. We apologize for the unpleasant experience with the air freshener in the lift and the restaurant being fully booked, which unfortunately limited your dining options. Your remarks about room allocation and breakfast quality have been noted and shared with the relevant teams to improve our services. The parking situation can indeed be challenging due to limited spaces and some inappropriate parking by other guests. We appreciate your understanding on this matter. Finally, we are sorry that some of our design choices did not appeal to you, and we will take your feedback into consideration.
