Booked to stay on a very warm day and got to my room to find the air con was not working. Rang reception straight away to be informed nothing could be done as maintenance had gone home and a fan could be sent up. Seemed like reception already aware which would have been nice to know at check in rather than after reaching the room. Second time I’ve stayed in this hotel and both times the customer service has been lacking. I’m not an unreasonable person so would understand that issues do arise but would rather the team were up front about it than trying to hide it to avoid having the conversation. For the price paid I expect better and have received better at other Accord hotels.

Great location and the staff were really helpful, but the water pressure in the room and the shower was very poor which made it laborious to try and wash long hair. The door of the cupboard wouldn't shut properly, so the light remained on all day and night, and the cupboard door housing the fridge wouldn't close properly either, which meant it partly locked the walkway.
