Day trip to Poitiers. We arrived at the hotel around 10am and our rooms were ready. All staff were met were great but extra thanks to Linette for helping me with the original booking.

Well located with basement car park. Large room with comfortable beds and large bathroom. The weather for our two night stay was blue skies and very warm. That's OK for meandering around the city, but when the air conditioning doesn't work and your hotel room is really very hot and oppressive, that's not so good. The consierge told us that there's nothing wrong with the aircon, it's just switched off at this time of year !!!! I mentioned that again to a different consierge when we were leaving and she seemed incredulous that we had been told that !! The aircon problem rather spoilt our stay. It REALLY was oppressive and uncomfortable when trying to sleep.

Staff friendly. Clean. Rooms very very basic. No iron, kettle. TV couldn’t be seen from the bed as it was on a strange angle. No sink in the loo so had to then go to main bathroom. Very little storage space for clothing. No drawers or shelves. So stay wasn’t very comfortable.

Really basic facilities, no bar or food. They only have a fridge with water and some sodas. Breakfast ok.
