We visited during a heat wave and arrived very early due to our flight time. We were aware check in would not be until 3pm but this meant waiting for 5 hours with young children. The reception were fabulous and luckily the previous guests of the room had already checked out so they said we could check in from 1pm to avoid the midday heat. This was very much appreciated. The location is fabulous so we took a lovely morning stroll around Poitiers. The room was beautiful. Perfect family space and felt very private. Wish we had booked for more nights rather than the second location we moved on to.

Unfortunately the room we were sent to had not been cleaned yet. A big error that was very quickly rectified. Our room was very pleasant, a good size. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a few cold drinks in the fridge. Good air conditioning. The shower placement was far from ideal, making it necessary to shower in a tight corner.

Great check in, rooms were comfortable and clean. Air conditioning worked well. Parked in the Theatre car park which is close by - 2 min walk, its a bit tight but secure.
