The hotel is fine. It’s a standard Ibis. We were not altogether pleased to find that The restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening after a long drive, given that we booked the hotel precisely because it has a restaurant attached. The only place open in walking distance was a grill restaurant. That was reasonably good but limited and fairly expensive.

We stopped overnight on our way to Portugal. The hotel was easy to find and the check in was smooth. We had our little dog with us and we all had a good night. The one thing I would suggest that if you like to have the window open, it would be better to ask for a room at the back as the traffic noise from the busy road made it hard to sleep with the window open. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy. We will definitely stay again later in the year.

booked 2 rooms were joining, but very cold, called reception and NO help offered, said there was nothing wrong with the heating!! has an evening meal , but only one member of floor staff covering an almost full restaurant. Food ok though .
