We have stayed here several times over many years and have always had a good experience. But since our last visit the restaurant has changed from a Courtpaille to an Ibis own brand. The food was perfectly acceptable but the choice had been much limited. Our room also looked tired with a large damp stain in one corner. In the morning our loo refused to flush as the cistern had not refilled. I reported this to Reception and was told that there was nobody on duty who could fix it. I was offered a change of room but this was not appropriate as we were leaving that morning. What happened to the Ibis promise that problems would be solved within 15 minutes?

Regarding the flush, I am sincerely sorry. Regarding the ibis promise on 15 minutes, it stipulates that if the problem cannot be resolved within 15 minutes, then the service concerned will be free, which shows that we cannot always solve everything in 15 minutes unfortunately. The lady on the reception was very friendly and helpful however the first room stank of either dogs or smoke we were immediately given another room. there should be rooms that dogs are not allowed in at all, people may have allergies to dogs. the rooms are dull, old fashioned and expensive for what you get. Drinks very expensive the smallest glass of wine i’ve ever seen and one small beer €11 breakfast is good and early start overall would not return it needs modernising

This is one of the older Ibis Hotels, staff is friendly, but rooms, bathrooms are outdated and give more the impression of a budget hotel
