Location is tops , quiet yet right next to main Princes Street and Waverley Station , set in beautiful St Andrews Square . Very clean rooms , fab bathrooms and a good continental breakfast choice in the mornings . All staff are courteous and helpful . We are coming back in February !

Excellent stay great central location

This is a modern, arty hotel in a fantastic central location. The airport tram stop is just a two-minute walk away, directly opposite St Andrew Square, which made getting around the city extremely easy. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and kindly accommodated an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. The lobby area is attractive and comfortable, with a bar/lounge space and equally friendly staff, making it a pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was good and well organised, with plenty of choice, especially for a continental-style breakfast. Options included cereals, toast, pastries, cheese and salami, along with scrambled eggs and a good-quality coffee machine. The queen-size room, although on the smaller side, was modern, clean and comfortable, and very quiet at night. The bathroom was compact but also modern and clean with a good shower. The room amenities included a kettle with tea bags, full-size mugs and a small bottle of long-life milk. The window could be partially opened for fresh air, which was a nice touch. Additional amenities included a hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. There was no fridge or safe, but this did not detract from an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
