Rooms are very good, the breakfast selection is pretty decent and the quality on the menu is good. However, don’t stay here if you’re expecting any recognition of the Accor program - there is the no recognition of a members Accor status in terms of welcome gift

Accommodation in Newcastle was all booked out due to rolling black outrs following storm event, Mercure had 2 rooms available at the highest rates. Restaurant was good, overall staff were very friendly and helpful
